I can’t recommend this hotel enough – it was one of the highlights of our Hokkaido trip!
The free shuttle bus service to and from Sapporo Station (both ways) made everything so convenient. No need to worry about taxis or public transport after a long day – just hop on and relax. Super thoughtful and saved us a lot of hassle.
The decoration is beautifully traditional Japanese style – think elegant tatami rooms, shoji screens, and that authentic ryokan vibe. It felt very calming and immersive right from check-in.
The onsen is absolutely superb! The water quality is excellent, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the views (especially the outdoor bath) are stunning – so relaxing after exploring Sapporo or Jozankei area. One of the best onsen experiences I’ve had.
Breakfast buffet was a real treat: fresh Hokkaido ingredients shine through, with amazing seafood (uni, salmon roe, sashimi-grade fish), local veggies, and high-quality dishes. Everything tasted super fresh and delicious – perfect way to start the day.
They even offer free hot wine and sparkling wine service in the evenings – such a nice touch! We really enjoyed sipping while unwinding.
Honestly, I can’t say enough good things. Great value, authentic atmosphere, top-notch onsen, and thoughtful extras. Highly recommended! 🌸♨️

luciferchengThe hotel's location is great, right outside JR Susukino Station. It's next to the Risokoji shopping street, and there are many small shops along the underground JR street too. You'll have no trouble finding food, and there's a supermarket downstairs. The hotel lobby is on the second floor, and they provide free drink coupons – one for each day you stay, based on the number of guests. I booked a Deluxe King Panorama room, which had a good view. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and very comfortable. The air conditioning was super warm in winter.

cy1104The rooms at the South Exit are a bit smaller compared to other Toyoko Inns, but the location is very convenient, close to Sapporo subway station. The staff are very friendly and polite. Breakfast can be taken back to the room, and there's a coffee machine in the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary drinks.

Guest UserThe room is bigger than expected. Able to put 2 medium size luggages. It has every essential things provided, sufficient light, bright room and separate bath and toilet room. Clean and nice! I had twin room right to the end of corridor. Hotel provided Toothbrushes and toothpaste, even has cleaning oil, toner, face cleanser, cream in small individual packets. The items were placed at hotel lobby. Japanese paid buffet breakfast provided at 2nd floor. Checkin and checkout is fast and simple. Hotel is located near the train station. A lot of shopping and eatery places nearby.

Guest UserI originally planned to book Toyoko Inn, but then I saw that this hotel was even cheaper for those two days, so I booked it instead. At just over 400 RMB a night, the value for money was pretty good.
The location is excellent, right next to Odori Park. The closest subway station is Nishi 11-chome, and it's not far from Odori Station either. It's also quite close to Sapporo Station, Susukino, and the Sapporo TV Tower. Sapporo's city center isn't very large, so transportation is quite convenient.
The room itself was on par with an upper-mid-range budget hotel – nothing spectacular, but perfectly decent. It was quiet and comfortable for sleeping.

I forgot to take pictures of the room, but aside from being a bit small, everything else felt pretty good. The lobby has self-service toiletries, tea bags, coffee, etc., and complimentary drinking water is available in the afternoon, limited to one bottle per person. The breakfast selection is quite extensive for a business hotel, and it tastes great, even offering Sapporo ramen.

The room isn't huge, but there's just enough space by the bathroom door for two suitcases. To fully open them and pack, you'll need to use the bed, which is typical for Japanese hotels, so it's acceptable.
It's a bit of a walk to Susukino subway station, a few blocks away, and it's even harder in the snow. I had to go to the Susukino airport bus stop, which is only a few hundred meters away, but with snow and luggage, it would have taken about 40 minutes to walk. I ended up taking a taxi from the hotel entrance, costing less than 100 RMB, and got there in just a few minutes, which was very convenient.
Overall, the price was reasonable, around 400+ RMB per night.

CenttBest for travelers prioritizing excellent cleanliness, great facilities (especially the sauna), and easy access to the Susukino area of Sapporo.
👍 The Good (Highlights):
Unique Amenities: The hotel features a highly popular sauna on the top floor (not a traditional onsen) and offers free miso ramen in the evenings (usually 9 PM to 11 PM).
Cleanliness & Style: Rooms are consistently rated as impeccably clean, modern, and stylishly designed.
Location: Conveniently located near the Hosui-Susukino Subway Station (Exit 6 is often mentioned), making it easy to access the main Susukino district, Nijo Market, and the Sapporo TV Tower.
Staff: The staff are very kind and helpful.
👎 The Not-So-Good (Drawbacks):
Lighting: Some guests have noted that the lighting in the rooms can be slightly dark, which might be inconvenient for tasks like applying makeup.
Dining: The immediate surrounding area right outside the hotel may have fewer restaurants or convenience stores compared to the absolute center of Susukino.
Verdict:
This hotel is a fantastic choice if you appreciate modern style, top-tier cleanliness, and are eager to take advantage of the unique sauna and free nightly ramen. Its slightly quieter location is balanced by excellent subway access.

The hotel was close to both Susukino Station and Hosui-Susukino Station. The lobby was clean, and while the room was a bit small, it wasn't uncomfortable. I saw some mixed reviews about the public bath in Korean, but I didn't use it. What I really loved was that there were so many types of bath salts in the lobby that you could take as many as you wanted, so I got to use a different one in my room's bathtub every day. It was also super convenient to have self-storage available before and after check-in, so I didn't have to ask them to hold my luggage. If the price is as good as it was this time, I'll definitely rebook without hesitation when I visit Sapporo again! ^o^
