The place runs on central heating system in early April when it is already 20 degrees outside. There's just a tiny window in the room. Because the temperature in the room is high already, the heater will not run, but given there is no air con, there is literally no air flow in the room. Had to borrow a fan from reception to deal with it. The remote unit of the toilet system does not always work too.

Exceeded expectations! Fantastic prompt service, well-kept facilities. Despite having multiple graduation ceremonies within the complex, the hotel has managed to produce seamless operations. Worthy to be that tall distinct landmark of Port Island since 1981. Well done!

An awesome hotel with excellent facility and services. Spacious, grand, quiet and clean. However, the cost of swimming pool is at high side.

I was assigned to a spacious room with a view of IKEA building. Breakfast was served at the top floor of the building which offered a magnificent ocean view.

I love the peaceful environment but the corridors creep me out. The TV were super old. The toilet remind me of a 3 star hotel. But i love how friendly and welcoming the staff is.

Though the hotel is a bit old, its rooms are very spacious and its buffet breakfast is very good. Parking fee is cheap (only 800 yen per night). Highly recommended.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Kobe Portopia Hotel, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until my departure, I was thoroughly impressed by the hotel's impeccable service, luxurious amenities, and stunning location. It's without a doubt that I would wholeheartedly give this establishment a well-deserved 5-star rating.

Interesting location with amazing views and old school charm.Service was absolutely amazing and the shuttle bus was an added bonus and very convenient!
