First of all, the hotel is in a great location and has a unique design. It is next to the Ya River. The facilities in the hotel are very luxurious. It was also my first time to check in in the room. In short, it was a great experience!

The Ritz-Carlton in Kyoto is much less cost-effective than the Ritz-Carlton in Osaka. Not to mention it is one or two times more expensive, and the Japanese and American breakfasts are both inferior. However, you can make udon noodles or fruit platter by special request. The service is still very enthusiastic. The hotel is located on the Kamogawa River, and it is very comfortable to walk along the river. In addition, it is a good experience to walk to Nishiki Market during the day and to Pontocho at night to eat and shop. When you are tired of shopping, you can have a spa treatment at the hotel, but remember to make a reservation in advance as the price is not cheap.
