"Quite a nice resort on its own. But not within walking distance to anything. I was there for 3 nights, I dun think the resort was fully booked, but I was given the room furthest from the lobby. was not such a big deal as I drive. But feel a slight anti-asian sentiment."

"We travelled from Jersey directly to Faro. We hired a car which is around a 40 min drive. We rented a two bedroom town house with swimming pool. The accommodation was immaculate, clean, had every you need, kitchen well equipped, hairdryer, iron etc. Bed are extremely comfortable and the bathroom have great showers, the Aircon worked well, but having the big patio doors open without Aircon works welk. No bugs, just lovely. There are 5 restaurants all with 5 to 25 mins working distance. "

The fresh squeezed orange juice and breakfast is such a delightful way to start each day. As someone who doesn’t normally eat breakfast, I still found myself looking forward to this meal as the perfect start to each day. I can only hope that I find equally wonderful accommodations in my future travels and that one day my travels will bring me back to Portugal for another stay with Vincenza and Massimo!"

"I recently stayed at Bricia Du Mar and it was a fabulous experience. Every staff member was exceptional (friendly, helpful, professional) including the reception staff (especially Victor); the restaurant, pool bar and breakfast staff - each was professional, friendly and accommodated menu changes to suit personal taste; the cleaning staff (especially the morning staff member who looked after the gym); the night reception staff member (who deserves a special mention for assisting me via email before I arrived and was so helpful with my earlier check out, taxi transfer etc). The accommodation was very well maintained, with lots of storage, nicely decorated, and a good kitchenette - ideal for a short break. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool area was a lovely relaxing and quite space. The gym was excellent with lots of equipment, well maintained and very clean. It would be great if the gym opened earlier to allow more time to use in the morning and to get to breakfast on time, without needing to rush. Also, it lacks air conditioning which made cardio work quite uncomfortable, despite being usually cold outside for the time of year. Dining options included the pool bar during the day and the restaurant in the evening. The food and service in both were excellent. The breakfast was also of a very good standard, lots of options and the buffet was replenished continuously. Without hesitation, I recommend Bricia du Mar. Thank you to everyone for ensuring I had a enjoyable stay. "
