"Beautiful town house with private pool that would normally get a 5 star if I didn’t feel like I shared my holiday with my neighbours on both sides . The houses are immaculate and in a lovely area although a car is necessary to get around but Uber is plentiful and cheap to Csrvoeiro town centre . We rented a two bedroom town house which was in the middle of a terrace , there is a gap in the hedges exactly where your sun bed is to allow ease of passage of the gardeners , the problem is this makes you feel like you are sharing the area with your neighbours . You hear every work they say and see them constantly . This gap should really be at the end of the garden for privacy. We had very loud neighbours with teenage kids , thought nothing of cheering on their football team from home . We even knew the score . The houses themselves though are really lovely and new Rooms are large and have a huge balcony off the main bedroom . Fully equipped kitchen . Cleaning was done every second day and they were excellent . One thing to note is the staircase is quite steep if travelling with young kids or elderly . We have been travelling to Carvoeiro on and off for well over 20 years , this was our first time as a couple without our kids and it is still a wonderful place to spend a holiday ."

"Portugal amazed me in a positive sense.... but staying at the Carvoeiro B&B and SPA literally enraptured me.... I repeat the title..... it feels like being at home with a SPA available.... I am I have been to other SPAs, but I have never had the feeling I felt here.....here it seemed like everything was mine....extraordinary!!!!! Definitely a lot of credit to Enza and Massimo, two people with whom after talking to us for 5 minutes it seems like you have always known them..... thank you.... SUPER RECOMMENDED"

"Currently having a five day stay here. Hotel is clean and peaceful. Small manned reception reasonable if limited breakfast and a pool bar and nighttime restaurant. The latter is very nice. Rooms basic. Comfortable beds but the room layout was awful. Kitchen area to the front bed crammed into an enclosed space at the back with a bathroom literally on top of one side of the bed. Made it impossible to go to the bathroom without waking partner up. We were in an eco studio which was on a low level st the back of the hotel. All in all hotel did its job and we had no complaints"

"Excellent stay! The location is perfect, very close to Senhora da Rocha and Praia Nova beaches, allowing for easy walks and enjoying incredible scenery. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The pool was always clean and very well-maintained. The poolside bar and the hotel restaurant are excellent, and all the staff were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. Whenever any issues arose, the front desk resolved everything quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this hotel without any hesitation. It was an excellent experience, and I will gladly return. 7 nights"

"Booked two weeks here via Travel Republic. Worked out slightly cheaper than booking direct. Place is superb. The pool is just gorgeous - around 20m long, always ample sunbeds. Beautiful gardens - all well maintained. Orchard with pomegranates, peaches, olives, citrus fruits etc Place is spotlessly clean - stayed in 2 bedroom town house which was cleaned every other day. I brought my own dishwasher tablets as only given 2. No shower gel provided - worth noting! Two washing tablets provided. Fitted kitchen with everything you need, comfortable beds. Wifi ok. If you like coffee maybe bring coffee pods as only 4 nespresso ones provided. Receptionist very friendly and helpful. Booked a boat/cave visit direct via her. Can have fresh bread delivered daily if wish. Also can have pool/beach towels for fully refundable deposit and changed as often as like. We visited Silves for an hour nearby - wouldn’t recommend - run down and very hot! Car probably essential as walk to beach or Carovoeiro probably 20 mins down and back up a steep hill. Gated community- feels upmarket and safe, very quiet, seems to attract a nice calibre of guest. Polite, respectful etc We shopped at Lidl - 12 mins drive away. Excellent value and quality. Area very busy in August with locals holidaying (beaches, water parks) etc. Wouldn’t return to the area again as like to try new places but felt we had really found a little gem here. Would recommend. We had a thoroughly relaxing holiday and found the facilities, cleanliness, service and environment extremely high standard and good value. Didn’t miss having a cafe or bar on site - think it maintains a tranquil atmosphere and the house had a drinks fridge and normal fridge/freezer which we stocked full or drinks and snacks and all the properties are a stone’s throw from the pool area."
