"There were two swimming pools, but we didn't fully utilize them because of the cold and windy weather. The room, however, was very spacious, about 63 square meters (?), practically a senior citizen's retreat, as almost all the guests were seniors. There was an Italian restaurant next to the check-in counter; we had dinner there the first night, and the food was delicious with excellent service. The living room had a sofa bed, and best of all, a kitchenette and washing machine. We stayed two nights and later discovered there was a small supermarket nearby with everything you could need, including fruit and bread. It's a bit of a walk to the beach, but I think it's great for hiking. The coastal hiking trail is a must-do; it's incredibly beautiful and you definitely won't regret it."

The staff are brilliant and the breakfast has enough choice to satisfy everyone. An additional coffee machine would be beneficial at busy times. There is a quiet outdoor pool area with plenty of sun beds. There are a few restaurants in the surrounding area but Lagos old town has enough for a different one every day of the year. We will definitely be returning to the Solar de Mos in the future. Thanks to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one."

"My wife and I spent a dream holiday from 20.08.2025 - 27.08.2025 at the Hotel Vila Valverde Design & Landhotel. The owners were able to convince us fully with the concept of sustainability and regional products. If we wanted rest we could retreat, if we wanted to live and people, then in Lagos we fell into the nightlife. A perfect concept that the owners have come up with here. The complex is very well maintained and clean and conveys pure luxury. We enjoyed half board and each course of the 4-part menu was a true culinary delight at star level. The service staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. I would like to thank the owner Luis Tavares very warmly for the friendly conversations at breakfast with many suggestions and tips. This stay will remain a lasting reminder and I assume that we will be happy to come back in the next few years to repeat this impressive stay. Thank you to the whole team for making this dream holiday possible."

"During my 4-day stay, I managed to enjoy a bit of everything, from the outdoor and indoor pools to the sauna. There's free parking available near the hotel, so there's no need to use the underground parking (unless it's high season). The room boasts a beautiful view from the ninth floor, although I feel that certain finishes should be rectified for such a new, 5-star hotel; the balcony floor seems a bit loose, and the bathroom door drags on the floor. The area is a bit windy, which you can feel through the window at night when it's quiet, but it's nothing too major. Breakfast was 'average'; I missed having natural juice, which I think would be justified given the price. The pool bar also does a good job, and their wraps/sandwiches are tasty. The sun loungers are also very comfortable."
