"Tha air conditions was not working, the réception could provided us a solution, even when they know there was a problem and accept it. The Windows was not able to be open so the room was hot the whole time
I highly suggest to consider other hotel of possible"
"The room was spacious, and it was good to have hangers and hooks available. However, there was only one shower room and one toilet for our floor, which was not sufficient. There were no hooks in the shower room, making it difficult to hang clothes or towels, and there were also no racks to place shower products. The ventilation in both the toilet and shower room did not seem adequate, and no hairdryers were available. That said, the shower room was clean. Overall, the stay was decent for the price."
"It was a clean, comfortable hotel. The room was clean and good size. I can suggest a mini fridge be put in rooms. The breakfast was basic continental but decent.
Location was accessible to public transport. The staff was always helpful. Good hotel."
"The hotel breakfast is average, it's purely for accommodation without any supporting facilities. There are many delicious restaurants nearby, but the surrounding environment is quite complicated. There are many homeless people and unconscious people, but they will not enter the hotel."
"We travelled as a group to attend seminars in the Lille Catholic University. However only one room available, we decided to give the room to our old German nun. When she checked out she left her Taïwanaise passport, granted by Taiwan Government for her contributions. Thanks to the hotel services, cooperation with the LC University, we finally get the passport back through express delivery. Amazing!"
"The hotel is located across from the train station Lille Flandres. The receptionist is located in the bar. Pressing the bell on the side door is useless. The room number does not include the floor number, so be sure to ask the receptionist. I could not find the flush button for the toilet at the beginning. It is located on the side of the toilet. There are many electrical cords under the toilet, which is weird. Overall it was what I paid for: a cheap hotel to catch my train in the morning."
"Nice, pleasantly designed hotel bu I was expecting more amenity for a 4 star hotel. No tea or milk in the room. Only two small coffee capsules (on decaf one normal). No ironing facility in the room. No hair conditioner. No kettle … my phone and heating weren’t wirking."
"A little double. On the one hand, a few remarkable places in the tape, dirty windows, and unstable crochets at the vitrage, dated seats and a lamp at the night box did not. No stop contact at the night box, but clean with fresh beds. Compliment that after a night's stay was cleaned and new towels and toilet paper was brought. Large room. Toilet can be a little more modern. Good that there were doors at the toilet and bathroom. Location close to the center. Sorry that around 10.00 hour was knocked on the door when checking out to 12.00 hour with the message that the powder card had to be hanged at departure. A superfluous and a little unhappy departure hint."

Great
GGuest UserLocated in the centre of Lille, very close to the main sights and Tourist Information Centre and metro station. The room was a good size, with a decent kitchenette and large fridge, and a nice sized shower cubicle in the bathroom. There were plenty of cupboards, and little touches like lots of hanging space in the bathroom and fold out rack to dry small things. We stayed for 3 nights and not having daily room service did not pose a problem, there was a hoover and iron in the room. The reception staff were friendly, they have a little board with recommended eating places, local shops etc. We didn't eat in the hotel as there were plenty of places nearby, and the supermarket is only a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Altogether a comfy stay in a most convenient location at a very reasonable price.
GGuest UserHotel is conveniently located beside Lille Europe station and 10 min walk away from the city centre. There's a huge Carrefour located in Westfield EuraLille.
Room was spacious and contemporary. Breakfast buffet spread was limited compared to other Novotel hotels.
GGuest UserIt is a very nice hotel, but my stay was ruined. The hotel had decided to have a DJ blast music from one of the hotel rooms to celebrate festivities in Lille that weekend. The DJ was blasting music through an open window to the street below at exceptionally high volume levels. My room was above the DJ. The music shook the room, it was impossible for us to stay in the room. It was a lovely room but it wasn't fit for purpose, and should not have been hired out to guests when the hotel had arranged for a DJ to be creating that level of noise below them. I arrived at the hotel after a 15 hour journey, desperate for rest before going out to meet friends in the evening. Rest was simply impossible in the room. As a result my evening out was also ruined. At the very least a hotel needs to provide a quite relaxing room for guests, this wasn't done. I would advise you to consider other options available before considering this hotel.
Mmiss banzaiSuch a cute hotel, old building style in the heart of Lille. This hotel has a private parking but with limited space, otherwise there is a lot of public parking along the street outside the hotel. The hotel has a nice restaurant. Haven't tried though this time as I went to the city center to have some nice Asian Thai food. But it looked really nice, also it has a nice terasse, unfortunately I was not at the best season, was cold and rainy but I can imagine in summer to be very cute. The rooms are a bit small but clean, modern and nice. I was really happy with my stay and staff are very friendly.
FFanHeheThis was the second time i booked the hotel. The first time was lovely staying. However , this time is terrible.
You can't believe when you enter the room that box tissue and lady bags were running out. And I requested a sofa bed for my son. But they gave me the baby cot.
Luckily, the staff came and took away the cot and open the sofa bed for me. But I needed to make the bed and put the blanket cover for myself.i thought i was working in the hotel.
Obviously , the room was cleaned roughly. Hotel needs to ensure the staffs to clean every room seriously and make sure to refill enough tissue in the room. You can have a look at the photos. the telephone. Super ..dirty with yellowish tea stain... and the toilet... thousands years limescale sticking on the toilet bowl. Sigh...
The air con was super weak. Pls fix it. We slept with sweat for the whole night.
When we opened the sofa bed, we found the lice jumped out. All legs and feet felt itchy immediately.
Pls make a timetable to steam the furniture and do pest control.
Good points : good location and yummy breakfast
KKate ThomWe were assigned an accessible junior suite though we didn't request an accessible room.. The bathroom was half finished and the wiring was not completed with the switches for the separate toilet and bath located in the doorway. There were signs pasted on the door to the toilet and the door to the shower stating that the hotel offered its apologies for the inconvenience! There was a workman's support pole found under the sinks which had to be removed by the technician when we complained. There was not a single hook, clothes stand, towel rack or rail anywhere in the bathroom, toilet or room. The hotel staff explained that they would send a technician a second time to drill hooks in the bathroom, we didn't bother since we were staying only 2 nights and didn't want the dust. The shower glass in the shower stall could not contain water within the stall and the floor became wet after we showered.
Location wise the hotel is perfect and the staff were polite. Breakfast was a mix of hot cooked food and the usual cold cuts, cheeses, breads, yoghurt, fruits and juices. The breakfast room changes to a bar at night which serves affordable and nice cocktails.
JJos Jos JosGreat place, lots of people, good breakfast and fast wifi. I would recommend staying here, the only improvement would be curtains for the beds.
