Great
JJinjinjinLocation: The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient to get to the beach or other attractions. The valet service was also very good. Ambiance: The environment is great; you can see both the sunrise and sunset. Enjoying the breeze on the balcony while watching the sunset in the evening was incredibly relaxing. Facilities: Some facilities were under maintenance when we visited, but we didn't use the hotel's facilities much anyway, so it was fine. The only minor drawback is that the public areas are a bit small, which doesn't quite give it the feel of a resort. Hygiene: Very clean. The hotel's newly renovated style is also very minimalist. Housekeeping cleaned all used dishes and cooking utensils daily, which was a big plus.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is super convenient, with a Waikiki Trolley stop right in front. Despite the affordable price, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the bathrooms are spotless. The front desk staff were incredibly kind and even accommodated our last-minute request to extend our stay. I'd definitely want to stay here again.

GGuest UserVery pleased with our stay! Excellent location beachfront. Beautiful views of Diamond Head Crater. Super excellent location to be in the middle of all shops, beaches and restaurants . Short walks to explore & enjoy up and down the streets and beaches! All staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Clean and well maintained. Great assistance with booking activities. My daughter took a surf lesson. Beachside conveniently had plenty of water activities to enjoy with an area to rent paddle boards , surf boards, floats, chairs & umbrellas. The restaurants inside the resort were excellent and convenient with outdoor seating and ocean views! ABC general store on lower level to shop for anything needed from drinks, snacks, beach towels, souvenirs, sunscreen etc…The resort also offers free activities that are on a schedule week by week, such as yoga, hula lessons, Lei & bracelet making, vow renewals & ukulele lessons! My 15yo daughter took a ukulele lesson, then shopped around and bought one to bring home!!! We have absolutely no complaints about our stay! Will absolutely be coming back in the future. Our flight home was a late evening flight & our check out time was 11:00am, so the bell hop service held our luggage for us so we could enjoy the rest of our last day on the beach. Then we decided to top off our last day to pamper ourselves with a spa treat, which is located on the top floor of the resort. I got a massage. My daughter got a facial. Afterwards we got to go to the outside roof top and enjoy the awesome view feeling refreshed & relaxed. I can go on and on about the positives of this vacation stay. There were no negative issues!

YYee11Hands down, this hotel is all about location, convenience, and comfort. If you want to be right in the middle of all the Waikīkī buzz, this is it. You’re just minutes from Waikīkī Beach and within easy walking distance to International Market Place, Royal Hawaiian Center, countless restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. Everything is so accessible that you can explore easily on foot. The rooms feel fresh and newly renovated, with a modern island-chic style. Clean, bright, and comfortable — not ultra-luxury, but definitely more than sufficient for a relaxing stay. Perfect if you want the essentials done well without paying for full resort-style extras. You’re surrounded by food options — poke, shave ice, smoothie spots, breakfast cafés, and nicer dinner restaurants. Convenience stores are just steps away, making it easy to grab essentials without needing transport. If you value prime location, walkability, renovated rooms, an outdoor pool, a gym, and solid value over ultra-luxe amenities, this hotel is a great choice.

QQingdefengmingdeyueVery close to the beach, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. You can see the sea from the elevator lobby on the guest floors, and enjoy a partial city and mountain view from the room. Services like parking and housekeeping were prompt. The breakfast buffet didn't have a huge variety, but the small garden outside the restaurant was lovely, and the dining environment was comfortable.

AAnonymous UserSo glad I booked the ocean view room! Seriously, if you're coming to Hawaii, an ocean view is a must. It's just so nice to be able to see the ocean right from your room. I also really liked the resort vibe here; the gardens, pools, and little fountains are all beautifully done. The lagoon is gorgeous too, and the beach is fantastic – I think it's cleaner than Waikiki and bigger than the beaches at some of the other nearby hotels. It's also not far to walk to the city center. All in all, I'd definitely recommend it!

MManaSuisseExcept for the location near the airport I wouldn't recommend this hôtel. It's dirty and noisy. And when the breakfast is included in the price of room, you get coupon for the restaurant. The choice of food for breakfast is very small. And it's either coffee (a very very bad one) or water (a very very small bottle). And then you are allowed to eat in the restaurant and you have to take away and eat in your room as there is no other places to eat. This breakfast is a joke :(

MMf_808We travel 3-5 times a year from Maui, and love staying at the Best Western Plaza Hotel. The staff is great, my daughter loves the pool, and we love waking up and going down to get breakfast every morning.

GGuest UserIt was a room with a view of the diamond head and the sea. I was a little worried about the height because I wanted a clear view of the sea, but I was satisfied with the Lanai overlooking the two without any problems. It is old as a whole, the bathtub is old, and it takes time to get hot water.
