"Owner is extremely unwelcoming, very different from everywhere else we have stayed. House keeper came knocking and asked what we needed in our room. We did not need anything and told her and thanked her for asking. We came back to the room and all of our things were moved in our room even though we specifically told her not to. Even the bedroom door was closed as we did not want anyone going in there. We cancelled our last night stay an almost a week in advance due to the train strike and unforeseen circumstances. They wouldn’t even give me the time of day when she checked in about the refund. We were told they would check with the manager but when we messaged him politely checking up on it…. No reply, no one at the front desk. I’m a paying customer and all we wanted was a yes or a no. Even though this was a “non smoking room” we came back to our hotel to the stench of cigarettes twice, and found an ashtray with many cigarettes in the window. Just avoid this place and go somewhere else. We stayed in room 7."

One night in Lecce with 2 children (infants) and a dog, 3-star hotel but equivalent to 4/5, excellent cleanliness, fridge in the room, mega breakfast with excellent food, professional and friendly staff... "We got a deluxe double room which has a second floor with sofa. Everything is clean and new in a historic building. Great toiletry amenities. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast is delicious with selected items on the rooftop with a great view of the old town. Close to railway station and old town. Would stay here again"

"Beautiful place, very nicely renovated, we arrived (4 friends) without having a reservation - still we got a nice table in the “breakfast room”. The service and the food were absolutely perfect. Highly recommend - would be glad to try not only for lunch ( it also has rooms and a nice pool in the garden). "

Once I arrived at the facility from Milan I learned, without having been notified beforehand and having previously accepted, that the facility I booked was not the one near Piazza Sant'Oronzo (in the historic center) but in another area of ​​the city (I am from Lecce and I know the differences!) The one attributed to me is decidedly not suitable for the one I booked and decidedly more miserable and dilapidated. No concession to my complaints. Shameful and disgusting attitude. Never seen anything similar in over 30 years of traveling. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! A disgrace for Lecce and its tourism. P.S.: the property tries to contradict me: I am a lawyer and I defend myself in the appropriate venues."
