"Location of very good sea-mazar room selection breakfast was not bad"
The Loriet ★★★★
"Even though it's a bit out of the city center, its location is right on the seafront and offers unique awakenings. It has all the amenities you need, and the reception was always very helpful."
Aeolian Village Beach Resort ★★★★
"This was our second stay at Aeolian Village, and once again it exceeded all our expectations. We stayed with a large international group, and everyone left with wonderful memories and a very positive impression of the hotel. The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. The service is outstanding, the surroundings are beautiful, and the hotel facilities are spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Special thanks to Nektarios, the amazing Food & Beverage Manager, and to Maria and Afroditi at reception for their professionalism, kindness, and constant support. What makes this hotel truly special is the people you always feel that no request is too much and that they’ll do everything they can to make your stay perfect. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Aeolian Village to anyone visiting Eressos."
Heliotrope Hotels ★★★★
"Excellent location within easy walking distance from several great restaurants. Great breakfast. Clean rooms. The pool has an attentive lifeguard so you don't have to worry about your children drowning. The bar is very reasonable and they serve good snacks and drinks around the pool. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. I'll definitely return (as often as possible)"
Elena ★★★
"Elena is super friendly, her husband has a grocery store downstairs in Stratos, and she's cheerful and helpful. If you come by car, there's a parking lot nearby. Anaxos is a quiet and peaceful holiday village. All the details have been thought of so you can cook in your room, ideal for families."
Theofilos Paradise Boutique Hotel ★★★★
"The breakfast is fantastic, you should definitely try the desserts served with breakfast, they were excellent."
Mythical Coast Wellness Retreat ★★★★★
"Very clean amazing sunrise and sunset, right next to the sea, kind and helpful team with plenty of facilities and decent food choices ! I’ll visit again !"
Belvedere Aeolis Hotel ★★★
"I would like to recommend this absolutely wonderful hotel ❤️It was such a beautiful hotel and all the people that worked there, was really fantastic. They were so kind and made our holiday so wonderful. The people who worked ind the bar, at the restaurant, the hotel owner and the wounderful beautiful women in the reception inkluding Maro, deserves a huge thanks for their kindness to us. The hotel had a beautiful pool with sea view, and we could stay there all day. The most beautiful pool I’d ever seen. We went to Conga bar in Molivos, a beautiful bar to the sea. It was amazing, and the best and most beautiful bar i’d ever went to. We had a wonderful evening at Nisi restaurant, and we will recommend anyone to go there. The father and his son who owned the restaurant, were extremely kind and warm-hearted. There is a big olive tree and with lights who make it so nice and beautiful. The food at the hotel was extremely good, and the drinks was also really good especially rum with cherry❤️🍒 Our room was cleaned so fine, totally perfect, and the woman who cleaned our room was so kind to us. The Greek people are really warm hearted and we love Greece. I traveled with my daughter and cousin and we had the most wonderful holiday, that we will never forget. We will be back again one day, but for now we would like to give our biggest thanks to this wonderful hotel and all the people who worked there, who made our holiday so wonderful and unforgettable ❤️🙏 With Love Ane, Smilla and Helena, Aarhus, Denmark."

Aphrodite Beach Hotel
"A very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. Our room's air conditioning was a bit slow, largely because the cleaners insisted on leaving the windows/doors to our room open once they'd been in the morning so the day's heat was allowed to penetrate inside. Why couldn't they shut everything after, say, thirty minutes or whatever? Clearing this took more power than the air con units could really muster. A small matter really as we weren't uncomfortable. Breakfast was good enough, fresh eggs, bread, pastries etc. The taverna/cafe was very good, authentic Greek food...and I don't mean waterfront/beach tourist Greek Salad authentic. Very tasty, very basic, good value and plenty of it. Visited by many from outside the hotel, who also used the hotel's pool. Mid day the pool was complete mayhem. Children turned the pool into a warzone running laps, divebombing, lilo fights screaming and shouting. I witnessed hotel guests arguing with pool visitors (non-hotel guests) over sunbeds, and the visitors lying they did indeed stay at the hotel and were Jet2 clients - highly unlikely as they were clearly Dutch! I also noticed visitors removing a guest's shirt and towel from a bed so they could use it, even though visitors are only allowed the use of a small fraction of sunbeds. A really poor experience, and we didn't use the pool area for the rest of the holiday. I brought the matter up with reception who thanked us for mentioning it but stated non hotel guests only used the pool at weekends, but this was clearly not the case. We asked why there wasn't an occasional pool attendant and were told staff were too busy working in the restaurant as they get a lot of outside visitors! We had a hire car and were thankful we hadn't elected to walk into town at night. Steep uphill for the first half mile, and if a warm night then a bit of a hike. Lots of people getting taxis, quite wisely, but Lesvos is a fantastic island with some very lovely places to visit - particularly restaurants, so why not hire a car and do the island justice? To summarise - a good hotel experience, marred by carnage at the pool. If you want the whole island experience then the Aphrodite is perfect, if you want lazy times by the pool with a book while your child plays then check you have ear plugs and your child is a confident swimmer and isn't deterred by groups of other kids racing, bombing, diving, screaming etc etc "
Eressian Hotel & Hammam Spa
"Exzellent experience! The place is amazing and the staff is very attentive."

Panorama Hotel
"Spent two weeks at this lovely family run hotel, it's our 7th time here and never faults. A short walk into petra. Or 6 euro taxi, plenty of taverna's en route. Breakfast is a buffet style with Greek yogurt, fruit. Bread, meat and eggs. Also cakes. Food is served during the day up till 9pm. We had 3 meals in the hotel and we're nice. Rooms tend to have 3 single beds with two together with nice balcony and air conditioning at 5 euros per night. Fridge is free. No tea making facilities in the room. Pool is lovely and spotless with plenty of sun beds with cover from the heat if required. Will be back again. Thanks for the lovely Holiday"
Eleia Seafront Rooms & Villas
"A truly amazing place! We stayed in a beautiful villa as a family of 4 with my parents staying in one of the apartments. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, everything has been built and finished to the highest of standards and all of the staff, along with the owner, are so lovely, friendly and professional. No matter where you are, the views are breathtaking. Having travelled extensively, we can honestly say that this is the best place we have stayed, and we will certainly be returning next year. Thank you!"
Sunrise Resort Hotel
"The Sunrise is a well-run complex of small blocks with a central reception/restaurant/bar, all set on a hillside with gorgeous views across the sea to the Turkish coast opposite. The grounds are full of trees and flowering shrubs with gardeners at work daily. Pools are nice - sparkling clean and well maintained, though the pool bar is a little overpriced for the food quality. There is a sauna, jacuzzi and gym next to the pool area though I didn’t investigate. When we went in September there were few Brits and less children, which were pluses in our book. A lot of visitors are Dutch. Rooms are good, we had a basic standard which was very clean and comfortable even though I paid for the deluxe (not sure if this was a hotel or Jet2 error). Staff bring your bags up for you - helpful as some are quite high with lots of steps. Lovely sea views from balcony. Beds are firm but comfortable with spare pillows and bedding in the wardrobe. Bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, tv, tea making facilities (bring your own if you like Tetley type!) and a well stocked mini bar. Rooms cleaned and towels changed daily if you wish. The hairdryer was not working when we arrived and was replaced the same morning when we mentioned it. Air conditioning and WiFi are included unlike many smaller Greek hotels where you pay extra. (Mandatory tourist eco tax is €10 per room per night.) Excellent self service buffet breakfast in roomy restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating options with all you could want - Greek and international: breads, pastries, cereals, yoghurt and preserves, cheese, fruit, salad, hot and cold meats etc etc. Evening meal is also a buffet but rather average - we only used it once (21€pp no drinks included). Useful if you don’t feel like going out but cheaper to buy as half board if you will use it often. However there is a free shuttle minibus 5 times a day to the nearby village Molyvos where there are many very good and reasonably priced tavernas - we especially liked the seafront Triena - and several by the harbour such as the Octopus (very popular) and the Sea Horse. Taxi is 7€ (from the same drop off as the shuttle) if you want to return independently. It’s possible to walk from the hotel to the sea in 10 minutes though it’s a very small strip of shingle, as is the beach in Molyvos - bring beach shoes. The sea is lovely though, clean and warm as it shelves slowly. Sandy beaches are at nearby Petra and Anaxos, and you can catch a ‘village train’ to those, though they are more touristy. Efthalou is said to have lovely beaches but is a 30 minute walk and it was too hot to walk there. Lesvos is lovely! Have no second thoughts about visiting if you are looking for sun, peace and authentic food."
