"Elisabetta is so helpful and friendly. The b and b is in a lovely location in the hills, very peaceful but 5 mins from train station. Levanto is a lovely place to stay. The pool is great after a long day sight seeing. Would thoroughly recommend."

"The environment is clean and the service staff is friendly. The highlight is the free Shuttle Bus, which is delivered to the station or pier, which is very helpful for exploring the Cinque Terre. Personally, I think Levanto is the most suitable place to stay in the Cinque Terre area. It has the convenience of trains and ferries, is not as crowded as the Cinque Terre, and is not as vulgar and complicated as La Spezia."

Villa Margherita

"We stayed here for three nights while in Levanto. Upon arrival, the front gate was locked. We rang the bell, but no one answered. One of the women who works there happened to walk by and see us and let us in. Our room was ready early and we were able to head straight to it, which was very nice. Our room had some loose tiles on the floor and I’m not sure the air conditioner was working correctly. It was quiet with a VERY soft bed. Breakfast was very good. We were also able to borrow beach towels and some wine glasses during our stay, which was great."

"This hotel is in a great location in a town which is on the railway line of the Cinque Terra so easy to get to but away from the crowds of the actual five villages. Great room and bathroom. Air con was switched off centrally when we went in October so if this is important to you please check it will be working when you are going. Also for some bizarre reason the TV would come on every time we came back to the room even though we switched it off before we left."

La Madonetta - Dimora d'epoca -

"Staying at La Madonnetta in Levanto Italy was one of the highlights of our vacation! Valentina and Bernardo were fantastic. They anticipated our needs and offered assistance with making dinner reservations, and pickup and transport to the train station. We didn't ask, they offered. It is rare to have this kind of proactive hospitality. La Madonnetta is a former chapel with lots of charm. The room was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, and there was even a refillable water bottle welcome gift. The location is on the bluff overlooking the sea, and is a short walk to the town and beach. This allows you to enjoy the views and beauty of the area while above the busyness of the town. Then when you are ready to explore or go to dinner, the town is only a short walk away. It really gives you the best of both worlds. Breakfasts were served on the veranda with an ocean view - what a way to start the day! The food was delicious and local. We stayed two nights and quickly realized that we wish we had planned to stay more nights in this lovely bed and breakfast. Valentina is so helpful and resourceful. Bernardo has a lovely, dry sense of humor that makes you feel welcomed. Bernardo traveled extensively in his former occupation and has experienced the range of customer service during his travels. He is putting this experience to good use in making sure his guests have a premium hospitality experience at La Madonnetta. If we had more time we would have been sure to take advantage of their elevated lounging area and the warm outdoor jacuzzi at sunset. Definitely plan to stay at least 4 nights! You will enjoy Levanto, enjoy La Madonnetta, and especially enjoy the welcoming, outstanding service of Valentina and Bernardo."
