★★★★ 9.5 (125 reviews)

"The Absolute Hotel truely lives up to its name. From the welcoming receptionists to our elegant spacious room, it was Absolutely Amazing. Our room on the top floor with a balcony was overlooking the Abbey river, which was breathtaking in the morning foggy dew. The location is just perfect. Walking distance to the city center and all Limericks sight seening highlights. Free parking. Will definally come again."

"The Clayton was conveniently located so we could easily walk into the city center. The parking ramp was very near and, of course, the parking was included. The beds were comfortable and we had a room with 2 singles and a double. It was perfect for our needs. We had a beautiful view of the sunrise over the river in the morning. We had dinner in the restaurant the first night. The food was fine and the servers were friendly."

Woodfield House Hotel

Woodfield House Hotel

📍 Ennis Rd, Kilrush, Limerick
★★★ 8.3 (103 reviews)

"I booked on the go, and after checking in, I had dinner downstairs – very convenient. They gave me a family room with one double bed and one single bed. The amenities were slightly less luxurious compared to the previous nights at the same price, but the bedding was fairly comfortable, and I slept well that night."

Castletroy Park Hotel

Castletroy Park Hotel

📍 Plassey Road, Limerick
★★★★ 8.9 (131 reviews)

"The staff were friendly, courteous, and professional. We stayed on a night where one in an Asian tour group smuggled a durian in a box which caused a scare around 11:40pm and firefighters were called. Despite this, the hotel staff handled it all professionally and our stay was a pleasant one. Thank you!"

"Fantastic hotel with so many amazing touches. I loved the staff, the location, and the decor. The breakfast was the best I have ever had with a hotel package. The service was second to none. When we arrived, they had a vintage radio playing in the room. What a cozy touch! The room was comfortable and fantastic. So happy with our stay."

"The Castletroy Park Hotel Suite was large and spacious, and equipped above and beyond standard. We had a problem with the kettle (limescale buildup), and it was promptly replaced late in the evening. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Limerick city center is easily and quickly accessible by bus. We would stay here again."

Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, Limerick

Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa, Limerick

📍 Ennis Road, Clare
★★★★ 8.5 (107 reviews)

"It is a 15-minute drive from the center of Limerick. It is relatively quiet, with large rooms. It is a standard hotel, but it should be OK in Ireland. We arrived late and were given a triple room. The room was very large and had all the facilities we needed."

"I stayed here before going to the Cliffs of Moher. It takes about an hour to drive there. It is suitable for self-driving. It is right next to the main road. You can park for free in front of the door. It is clean and suitable for self-driving."

"Great hotel for a group of friends, had triple & twin room, very spacious. Lunch in the bar was very nice. The only negative is the stairwell to bedrooms very poorly signposted, and the lift can be slow"

"Garden-style hotel, quick check-in, polite gentlemen, three-star hotel, the shortcoming is that we were arranged a room on the basement floor, which was not comfortable, and it was not specified when booking the room that it was a basement floor room."

Woodfield House Hotel ★★★
"Nice hotel located on the outskirts of Limerick. Around 25 minutes brisk walk into the centre. Usefully located on the main bus route from the airport. They were also happy to accommodate a later check in due to my flight arriving out of hours. Very pleasant stay, room was clean and staff very friendly. There is a bar downstairs; many people have complained about the noise however I was placed in a room at the back of the hotel and didn't get any of the noise. The rooms could use a bit of an update if anything, for example bigger beds and more modern furniture but at least it doesn't feel like a chain hotel. I'd definitely return if I was in Limerick as it's a good value option for accommodation compared to other places in the city."

"As an 87 year old man with an invalid parking permit I attended a wedding in the hotel on Friday 1st May. On arrival I failed to find an identified invalid parking space which was a disappointing start to my visit. On the plus side: 1. the receptionist who attended to my checking-in was very pleasant, courteous and efficient. 2. the staff serving the food at the wedding reception were effecient, helpful and attentive 3. the reception food was very well cooked and it was absolutely delicious. 4. the 208 bedroom was clean and comfortable On the minus side: 1. the bathroom is dated having an old bathtub instead of a walk-in shower tray. This bathtub presented me with geat difficulty in having a shower and the total absense of appropriately positioned grab rails made showering unsafe for me if not dangerous 2. the €7.25 charged for a bottle of Corona is absolutely outrageous when one considers that the public can purchase the same item for €1.17 which means that the hotel can buy it for less than €1.17. This represents a mark-up in excess of 600%. 3. the poor quality of the breakfast offered on Saturday 2nd inst. at 9.00am degraded the very high standard achieved by the personel who prepared the food for the wedding reception. (a) Neither prunes nor prune juice were available (b) the diced fresh fruit was as hard as uncooked turnip because it was unripened (c) the scrambled egg on offer was a an unappetising mess (d) the fried eggs gave the impression of having been prepared with an attitude of "they can eat it or leave it" because the yolk was uncooked and had ruptured all over the content of the container. (e) there appeared to be a scarcity of bread (f) the section seemed to be under-staffed with no obvious person in charge of operations. I am submitting this review because I believe in the business motto which states "If you like what we do please tell others------if you do not like what we do please tell us" Yours sincerely, Patrick Conheady. 03/05/2026"

"Located in the suburbs of LIMERICK, surrounded by Irish countryside, the scenery is beautiful, and you can take a walk along the trail around the hotel in the morning. It is about 1-1.5 hours drive from the Burren National Park and the Cliffs of Moher. I stayed here to be closer to the Cliffs of Moher the next day. But the hotel did not have hot water that day! Taking a cold shower in winter is simply miserable. It was said that the equipment was broken and the repairman could only come the next day."
