"This was my second trip to Japan, and the hotel was newly renovated, clean, and well-equipped with standard amenities. What really stood out was how incredibly enthusiastic the female staff at the front desk were. They proactively helped my elderly companions, even showing them how to use the coffee machine. That left a lasting impression. The dining options were just okay, but you could see the high-speed rail station from the restaurant window. Although it's about a kilometer from the station, it's the closest hotel around, as there are no other buildings near the station."

"The family room was much bigger than I expected, completely different from other hotels where they just cram two beds into one room. It felt like it used to be a suite that was converted, with two connecting rooms each having a large bed. This is perfect for families traveling with older children, as everyone gets their own space. Both rooms were very spacious, the overall decor felt quite high-end, and the cleanliness was also good. What was particularly thoughtful was that all the duvets were summer quilts – I've put up with thick duvets in other hotels for so long, so it's very considerate that this hotel thought of that. The only slight downside was that the room was at the very end of the hallway, and the hotel's layout is a bit odd; it takes a while to walk from the elevator, and dragging luggage along that path was a bit difficult. A nice touch, though, was that the hallway featured many small display cases showcasing Linfen's local culture, history, and intangible cultural heritage. This was great and made the long walk down the corridor less boring. The mini-bar in the room offered complimentary drinks, and breakfast was decent – enough to fill you up, and the local beef meatball noodles were good. Parking was convenient with an underground garage right next door. They also have a gym and a laundry room, so the facilities are good, and you can even order coffee on the first floor. The only minor issue was that the floor drain in the bathroom seemed to have a bit of an odor when we first entered, but flushing water down it fixed it right up. Hopefully, they can address that."

"Facilities: Excellent. Everything is quite new, the room is spacious, and the layout is excellent. The light switches are also well-designed. There are plenty of small tables for placing things! If there were a small mirror on the table opposite the sink, it would be perfect. Cleanliness: Very good. Environment: Located inside a shopping mall, you can directly access the mall without even going outside, making dining very convenient. Service: The front desk and restaurant staff are exceptionally helpful."

"The hotel is a 7-8 minute drive from the high-speed rail station. We arrived after 10 PM, and the owner was already waiting for us at the station, which was really thoughtful. The breakfast in the morning was also quite good (in my opinion), and the owner even gave us detailed recommendations for local attractions. We had a great experience this time and will definitely stay here again."

"Linfen was the last stop of our trip to the northwest. It was a pleasant surprise when we entered the hotel. The hotel facilities were good, and the service was first-class with handsome men and beautiful women! The food in the restaurant was also very good. Water was placed in the corridor for you to drink. It was very convenient to make tea after a tiring day. It was worthy of praise! But there were some minor flaws when we returned to the room after drinking at night: the bed sheets and quilt covers seemed to be changed before they were dry, and it was so damp that I couldn't sleep at night! Especially my brother woke up several times. And the toothbrush shed hair! It fell all over my mouth! It was disgusting! The hotel is generally good, and I hope these details will be corrected!"

The building exteriors have been moved and rebuilt from nearby villages."

The bedroom was comfortable, and the breakfast spread was delicious. If you enjoy street food and history, the hotel is in the centre of it all. It is a five-minute car ride from the ancestral tree museum, and just outside the hotel, you can smell a street filled with food, fresh fruits, and vegetables. I would definitely visit again if I wanted to see the museum again. Thank you for an amazing experience."

They even offer complimentary snacks. I cut my finger while I was out, and when I came back, the front desk helped me bandage it up. They have a well-stocked first aid kit for bandaging. There are also free toiletries available, and heated bottled water and coffee. Overall, I had a great experience."

"Staying at the Royalton Hotel Linfen Gulou North Street was an amazing experience! Upon entering the hotel, a friendly and professional male staff member checked me in quickly. The room was well-planned, spacious and comfortable, with a generously sized twin bed and soft, soft bedding, which provided a wonderful night's sleep. The cleanliness was impeccable, with every corner being spotlessly clean. I especially want to praise the dining area! The restaurant was immaculately clean and the service was excellent. The breakfast was varied, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was excellent. The restaurant was clean and bright, with neatly arranged tableware. The waitstaff was always available, promptly refilling dishes and clearing plates, and their friendly attitude was very comfortable. Checking out was also very convenient, giving the overall experience a perfect score! I'll stay here again when I'm in Linfen and will recommend it to friends!"

Loading and unloading luggage at the door is more difficult than taking a driver's license test Facilities: 1. The mattress is a bit hard, almost like a wooden bed with a quilt 2. I booked a suite specifically for the deep bathtub, but the water was not hot... the water was warm after running Service: 1. The receptionist at the front desk was a bit stupid, asking how to get the luggage? When I checked out, she told me to open the gate... I checked in with one hand and told me to tell her when I checked out... 2. She was very considerate and took the initiative to help me get my luggage to the car when I checked out 3. She also prepared warm water and cold mineral water 4. There were not enough tableware for breakfast, only chopsticks, which made it inconvenient to eat bread, toast and jam"
