A Memorable Family Stay at Atlantis Sanya During the long Korean Chuseok holiday in early October 2025, my family and I took a short trip to Sanya for some rest and fun. We stayed at Atlantis Sanya, and from the moment we checked in, it already felt like the right choice. The room was big enough for our family of four and so comfortable that we felt at home right away. Everything, including the bathroom and the amenities, was modern and spotless. Most of our time was spent enjoying the water park, which quickly became our kids’ favorite place. We laughed, played, and probably spent more time there than we planned. Breakfast was another highlight — every morning offered something new, fresh, and delicious. Those small changes each day made every meal feel special, and the cheerful atmosphere helped us start each day in a good mood. The most unforgettable moment came when my daughter lost her phone in a taxi. We were quite worried, but the duty manager and our butler, Farhana, stepped in immediately. They contacted the driver, explained the situation, and somehow managed to get the phone back to the hotel. I was honestly amazed — I never thought we’d see it again, especially in another country. Their kindness and determination left a deep impression on all of us. Thanks to the thoughtful staff — especially Farhana, who took care of our family as if we were old friends — our stay at Atlantis became something truly special. It was a trip filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments. If we ever visit Sanya again, there’s no question — we’ll be staying at Atlantis once more.

Stayed at Haitang Bay’s Westin for a night and wished that I had stayed longer here!!!! Location is convenient,especially for shopping. Private beach, riverfront pool is perfect for photos and comes with so many activities! We had a blast with them. Our caretaker Damon is also the best! Excellent service, friendly and attentive. Thanks for taking care of us!

I personally really did not enjoying my stay at this hotel. I felt it was more of a mainstream Chinese tour group hotel than an international high-end brand. The breakfast was so busy full of so many people the swimming pools were really bad. Are they too small and weird shaped and closed. you can’t swim on the beach here. There was only two check in staff for 1 million people so expect to have to wait to check in. If you have kids, maybe it’s fine but for Western tourists especially those without kids I would strongly recommend not to stay here.

During this trip to Sanya, I chose to stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Haitang Bay, Sanya, which was undoubtedly a very correct decision. As a senior travel enthusiast, I travel between business trips and vacations all year round, and have my own insights into the hotel's service quality and facility experience. Grand Hyatt Hotel left a deep impression on me. Whether it is the overall environment of the hotel or the meticulousness of the service staff, I have benefited a lot from this trip. First, let me talk about the hotel environment. Sanya Haitang Bay is located in the southeast of Sanya City and is one of the most beautiful bays in Sanya. The hotel is surrounded by mountains and sea, covering a vast area, surrounded by green trees and sunny. As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby, you can feel a comfortable and comfortable atmosphere. The lobby is decorated in elegant style, with the fresh atmosphere of citrus and sea breeze everywhere. The public areas of the hotel are designed in a simple and elegant manner, whether they are swimming pools, gyms, restaurants or bars. The room I stayed in was the Supreme Sea View Room, which was very spacious and bright, with floor-to-ceiling windows that offer views of the hotel's garden. The interior of the room is elegantly decorated, with exquisite furnishings, everything is available, the bathroom is spacious and bright, and is equipped with a separate bathtub and shower. Importantly, the bedding in the room was very comfortable and I slept very sweetly every night. In addition to excellent hardware facilities, the hotel's service is also excellent. Every service staff was enthusiastic and attentive, and left a deep impression on me without exception. May and Jasmine will take the initiative to ask me what I need, patiently answer my various questions, and ask me if I need anything else. The hotel can store my luggage so that I can hang out in the hotel with ease and pleasure. This kind of considerate service made me feel the warmth of being at home. Overall, the stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Sanya Haitang Bay was perfect. The beautiful environment, comfortable rooms, delicious dining and thoughtful service all made me praise it. I believe that as long as you choose to stay at Grand Hyatt Hotel, you will definitely have an unforgettable trip to Sanya like me. Next time I have the chance to come to Sanya again, I will definitely choose this hotel again and highly recommend it to my relatives and friends.

This hotel was excellent. There are 2 pools, both very clean and large. The staff also frequently check the pool and maintain it in excellent condition. The highlight….the breakfast buffet was amazing!!!!! It had multiple stations including BBQ, noodles, traditional dim sum, western breakfast options, Thai/malay curry, pastries, desserts and an excellent assortment of fresh tropical fruit. They had guava, passion fruit and fresh melons. Would definitely come again and stay longer so that I can see other parts of the island.

We stayed here for 4 nights at the Gold Tower which was a bit far from the lobby, breakfast buffet and carpark. Check-in took a very long time and there wasn't a specific line to queue which made the check-in procedure feel like a gamble. When things seemed to be getting helpless, Minnie, our customer representative swept in to introduce herself and kindly took us to our room and gave us her wechat. She kindly assisted us throughout our stay with room keeping, restaurant recommendations and general hotel navigation. We are very grateful for her help! We were very satisfied with our room and the hotel in general. We tried all the restaurants and they were all great. Pools were fun, and we would suggest the pools closer to the beach which are very tranquil. A tip: Request for a higher floor and away from the lifts. We were on the 5th floor and we could only see a sliver of sea.

If paradise had a check-in desk, it would probably look a lot like The Sanya Edition. From the moment I arrived, the service was so warm and attentive that I half expected them to read my mind (which, thankfully, they didn’t, because most of my thoughts were about whether it’s socially acceptable to eat dessert at breakfast). The food here is a real highlight—whether you’re after something refined or just comfort on a plate, every meal feels like a little celebration. I definitely left with a happier stomach than when I arrived. The personal service is truly exceptional: every member of staff goes above and beyond with genuine thoughtfulness. The concierge and valet team in particular made everything effortless, anticipating needs before I even realized them myself, and always with a smile. And the views? Honestly, unfairly beautiful. Between the shimmering ocean, the lush greenery, and the perfectly designed pool areas, it’s the kind of setting that makes you forget about emails, alarms, and, well, reality in general. In short: stunning surroundings, top-notch food, and service that makes you feel both special and completely relaxed. I came away feeling refreshed, spoiled, and already planning my “accidental” return. And a special mention must go to Julie, whose friendliness and remarkable attention to detail made the whole experience feel otherworldly. 如果天堂有前台，那么它大概会长得像三亚艾迪逊酒店。 从我到达的那一刻起，服务就热情周到，让我差点以为他们能读心（幸好没有，因为我大部分的念头其实是：早餐吃甜点算不算不合适？）。 这里的餐饮绝对是一大亮点——无论是精致菜肴还是纯粹的舒适美食，每一餐都像是一场小小的庆祝。我的胃在这里比到来时要幸福得多。 贴心的个性化服务更是令人难忘：每一位员工都尽心尽力，细致入微。礼宾部和私人管家团队尤其出色，总是能在我开口之前就体察到需求，而且始终带着温暖的微笑。 至于景色？简直美得不公平。无论是波光粼粼的海面、郁郁葱葱的绿植，还是设计完美的泳池区域，都让人瞬间忘掉邮件、闹钟，甚至现实世界。 总之：环境迷人，美食出众，服务贴心，让人既感到特别又彻底放松。我离开时不仅神清气爽、倍感宠爱，还已经在计划下一次“意外”的重访。特别要感谢 Julie，她的友善和对细节的非凡关注，让整个体验宛如置身异境。

Our room was facing the ocean. It was lovely to hear the waves while sleeping. The room was big and clean. The bathroom/dressing area was the same length of the room... lovely. The pool personnel was nice and friendly. One of the pools was closed, however the sea view pool was nice when it wasn't interrupted by guests shouting into their phones or smoking to the side. The wind blows smoke towards the lounge chairs, so smoking anywhere near the pool should be banned. Unfortunate that it isn't a rule for smokers to smoke nowhere in the vicinity of pools. The breakfast was nice in the selection. However, when screaming kids it turned what could have been a relaxing start to the day to one of wolfing down food to escape the chaos. Bus boys would look at our table with empty plates and just look... not take our plates away. Not sure why. We can speak Chinese and even if English scared them away, it was just a plate. Would I return? Yes, because of the lovely view from the room, the size of the room, the pool, the cleanliness, landscaping, and beach (size and cleanliness).

Spent my birthday in Sanya again this year. Even though it was typhoon weather and I couldn't sunbathe on the beach, the views at the JW were still lovely, and I just spent two relaxing days lounging around the hotel. The service was also excellent. During the day, I relaxed in my private plunge pool listening to podcasts, and in the evenings, I took a night dip in the communal pool areas. It was incredibly relaxing. The iSpa center also has a distinct Southeast Asian style and is definitely worth trying.

Upon check-in at 4 PM, our room wasn't ready. We were upgraded to a room with a small plunge pool, but its edges were yellowish. The chef at the breakfast congee station had a poor attitude. The restaurant's linen seats and floor were dirty, and we were seated before cleaning was complete. Breakfast was also quite limited. Lobby signage was unclear, and it was often impossible to find staff for assistance. The photography service called me after 11 PM to arrange a shoot, but then no one contacted me even after the scheduled 2 PM time the next day. With a typhoon approaching, I simply left. The pool was quite good, with slides that adults could enjoy without long queues. Our butler, Mango, was quite helpful. The lantern lighting activity was interesting. However, only a small, insufficient amount of cocktails were prepared. Surprisingly, they also charged a deposit for the room booking. This is the first hotel in Haitang Bay I've stayed at that required a deposit.
