"We stayed at The Sharkstail Dive Resort for 5 nights and do some dives. The diving was excellent, with clear water, healthy reefs, and a good mix of big and small marine life. The Instructors and Guides were knowledgeable, safety-focused, and great at finding interesting species. The resort itself was comfortable and well run. Rooms were clean, food was consistently good, and the dive facilities were well organized. Staff were friendly and always happy to help. Overall, a fantastic dive resort that I would happily return to and recommend to other divers/no divers."

Accommodation is clean with a very good location right next to the street stalls and still central to town. Bathroom is basic but adequate for the stay. "

"A very nice place to stay on Malapascua. Clean, air-conditioned rooms, very nice breakfast, and accommodating staff. My room (3) was on the front entrance side - AVOID. All night until 3 am there is music from a local bar/disco that reverberates mmmcha mmmcha mmmcha (noise-cancelling earbuds helped) only to be followed by the loudspeaker-broadcasted religious singing a la the Who-s from Whoville starting at 5 am. Not the fault or under the control of the hotel, but perhaps ask for a room in the BACK of the resort near their beach. A beautiful resort nonetheless"

"The rooms are ok but bad lighting. Everything looks clean, the beds has firm mattress. Doors has gabs so any insects can crawl in. We switched rooms 3 times due to Room 1 - Extreme loud AC, unable to sleep. Rusty Shower heads with no water pressure. Room2- roaches nest at the bathroom door frame. Last room - jumping spiders. After all there is NO FRESH WATER for showering in ALL 3 rooms! This place needs major maintenance!"
