"Nestled in a valley surrounded by karst peaks, the guesthouse brings life to the tranquil village, attracting many students who come to hike, explore caves, birdwatch, and participate in traditional sugar-making. You can feed over 20 blue peacocks, a wild goat unafraid of cars, and several kittens (except for coffee-flavored biscuits). The sight of blue and white-blue peacocks displaying their plumage during courtship is magnificent, their colors even more lustrous and graceful than those of peacocks in zoos. Although we only saw one bird pecking at food during birdwatching, seeing a white-rumped magpie in the wild was still very satisfying. The guesthouse lobby is also very unique; the vintage furniture and decorations seem carefully sourced, surpassing the standards of seaside guesthouses/hotels I've seen in Thailand. The treehouse has air conditioning and windows that can be opened, providing fresh air and warmth. The blue peacocks are often quiet guests on the rooftop or outside the windows."
