numa Stays in Madrid

We had a very pleasant stay at Numa Madrid Luna. We stayed in two different rooms: the first was quite small, but cozy and comfortable for a short stay in central Madrid. We especially loved the second room with a balcony – it was very nice, bright, and had the atmosphere of a true Spanish city. 🫶 We'd especially like to thank the hotel team for their early check-in – after our long journey, it was invaluable and made our stay much more comfortable. The location is also excellent: everything is close by, making it easy to explore the city and enjoy Madrid. Thank you for the warm welcome!

It had a small fridge, a private bathroom, free lockers, self check in, walking distance to supermarkets, an electric stove, clean towels, a/c, great blackout blinds. there was an issue with the trash I reported it and two days later they were able to fix it

The location is super convenient, just a two-minute walk from the subway exit, and the building itself is quite new. The biggest issue was the lack of hot water for showering at night – only cold water. This might be okay in the summer, but it's completely unacceptable in winter. When I tried calling for assistance, I only got an AI response. I spent an hour texting back and forth trying to sort it out. Most of the staff only spoke Spanish, making communication difficult for non-Spanish speakers. Also, the TV in the room had no remote control, so there was no way to watch anything. The safe was also broken and unusable, which made it hard to reach customer service.

I arrived in Madrid in the morning after a 10-hour overnight bus ride from Porto. I was so tired that I asked about an early check-in, and they let me in because a room was available. Just that alone was incredibly touching. The room didn't get much sunlight, which was a bit inconvenient, but I understand since there are so many places like that in Europe. It is a safe, unmanned hotel, and it was more spacious than I expected. The location is excellent; it's the best location ever.

Overall, this isn't quite a 4-star hotel; it feels more like a simple Airbnb. I'd recommend choosing a formal 4-star hotel instead. Pros: 1. It has a kitchen, washing machine, and refrigerator, which makes living here quite convenient. 2. Self check-in/out is simple and easy to understand. 3. The soundproofing is decent, and the location is convenient, very close to the train station. Cons: 1. The bedding is quite old. 2. There's still a renovation smell, even though the decor is very basic.
