Hotel101 Madrid ★★★

📍 Av. de las Fuerzas Armadas, 328, Hortaleza, Madrid

"Simple hotel good for an overnight layover if you don’t want to go to the city centre. The shuttle bus only goes once per hour - from hotel: Our complimentary hotel shuttle service from Madrid Airport (Terminal 4) to the hotel operates every hour from 6:45 AM to 9:45 PM, except at 10:45 AM and 7:45 PM. This super been helpful info to have prior to booking as I arrived at T2 at 18:20. So had to wait quite a while. That also meant the shuttle was filled quickly and some people were left behind as it arrived about 8:30pm and even when full didn’t depart until 20:45. Staff in the hotel were nice and there’s a supermarket next door so that was good to get some snack for dinner and an early departure. The 6am shuttle back to the airport was also full before departure time, so be sure to arrive early if planning to use this service. However it does drop off at all terminals, which is good."

Zleep Hotel Madrid Airport ★★★
"Very close to Madrid Airport and quite affordable at 600 RMB per night. The water is drinkable straight from the tap. A taxi to the airport takes only a few minutes. The room was clean, and the shower/toilet area was well-separated."

Madrid Marriott Hotel Princesa Plaza ★★★★
"The rooms are quite spacious and new. Location is convenient, close to metro and shopping mall. However, there are two issues: 1) electric car charging station does not work for tourists. Need to use home plug which rental cars normally do not provide. If we know this earlier, we may have chosen other hotels; 2) housekeeping staff entered our room despite the privacy signs hang at the door, which is unacceptable."

Travelodge Madrid Metropolitano ★
"First off, the front desk service was excellent, and they were very helpful with storing my luggage. The hygiene was also superb, absolutely nothing to complain about there. As for the facilities, everything was great except for the slightly narrow desk. Lastly, regarding the location, it's quite convenient to the subway station, but considering the uphill walk, it's just average. There are many restaurants nearby, which is a big plus."

Live it Madrid Gran Vía ★★
"Excellent location right on Madrid's main avenue, very close to Plaza de España. It's also a short walk to Puerta del Sol and Retiro Park, making it easy to explore on foot. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and even a KFC nearby. The airport isn't too far either. The front desk staff were very friendly and patient, and the room itself was decent, clean, and hygienic. It's a great choice for a short tourist trip."

"Excellent location, clean and comfortable room, but no place to store belongings. No conditioner in the shower which is poor for a Sheraton. The breakfast is good. Despite being a Marriott Bonvoy member, I couldn't get a late check-out, which I didn't appreciate."
