"If you enjoy a room immediately above a bar holding a rock music night where you can measure 95dB average for over 2 hours and a max of 102dB ( jet flying over at 100ft) this is an ideal Inn for you! The assistant manager was not helpful . " What do you expect when you book a room over a pub??". At another time the room and breakfast would have been acceptable for the price charged, but not great value for money. I have forwarded my video recording and dB measurements to Cornwall CC Environmental Health, as I beieve the Inn to be in breach of contract, and be seeking legal advice."

"We had a lovely time on Mother’s Day. Best roast I’ve had in ages and the staff were so lovely. Thank you so much for looking after us so well. Special shout out to debs the manger and Kian the ‘managing director’, but everyone we spoke to was great. We’ll definitely be back."

"Great little hotel for the price . Fantastic welcome and introduction. First time I’ve had shower operation explained to me! Staff seemed well motivated and keen to please . Room was well equipped and pleasantly decorated and furnished. Personally I’d make the decor more coastal/ seaside to give it some personality! Bathroom was spacious and importantly it had a bath! The towels however were poor - small and thin. Breakfast was good but no fruit . Some might find it late - starts at 9. It doesn’t have a car park but council car park adjacent at £5 per day . Overall though a great pub accommodation."
