"Worst experience ever with this pathetic hotel, literally staff and management both are arrogant and highly unprofessional , Ever after paying full payment my client had to face the big embarrassment as no service , nothing in washroom no dental kiy no shaving kit even after they demanded so many times hotel was full in denial mode, Food was worst and service was super late as you hardly find anything in their buffet in breakfast as well in their lunch I made same complaint several times but staff and management showed no courtesy to reply back I requested to early check out but they rejected to pay my balance amount Worst worst worst Listen to all traveller and travel agent don't ever book this hotel they are fraud and never book their hotel with full advance"

"Rustic wood is a very cozy and pleasant resort to spend your holidays. Its located in Simsa village just outside manali, 2.5 Kms from Mall Road. The location is serene with valleys and snow cladded mountains all around . We stayed in premium rooms with private balcony , the view was beautiful and mesmerizing. The room was big, pretty big Bed and warm Blankets. Toilet was clean and dry with all proper toiletries. We had breakfast and Dinner included in the price. The breakfast spread was good with delicious taste. However the dinner wasn’t that good in taste. Only Con : they will charge you for room heater @Rs. 500 per night during cold winter nights, which to me should be included within the room charge and should come complimentary."

"Had the best time in Johnsons lodge & Spa. Once we reached hotel, we got a mesmerising view of Hills, and lush green garden with exotic flowers blooming all around. This property is one of the best in terms of natural beauty, cleanliness, customer service, food quality. Rooms are modern n stunningly done. We were a group of five so stayed in suite plus one attached room which was perfect for us. Rooms are spacious and elegantly done and fitted with AC, comfortable bed, sofa, working desk, wardrobe, fridge, microwave and all other comforts and amenities. The washrooms were spacious with bath enclosures and bath tub in suite, all necessary toiletries were also provided. Staff is well mannered and always ready to attend the need of the guests. We are thankful to everyone present there and all who attended us Sahil, Karan, Ganga, Sonam During our stay on weekend we also enjoyed live bands and music from some of the popular bands of Manali including “Shankh”. By far the most beautiful vacation i've been on for a long time. PS- please definitely try their in-house speciality Trout in all three flavors, Pizza, Mexican nachos, kebabs and butter chicken. I am definitely visiting again."

Location wise it is up the hill on the Hadimba temple road and the view from the family cottage is mesmerizing. We had a great stay and would like to come back again. Areas they need to develop are regarding the bathroom fittings and toiletries. "
