Rede Andrade Amazônia

Rede Andrade Amazônia ★★★

📍 Av. Getúlio Vargas, 227, Manaus

"Hotel well located, clean and organized, good structure, just the issue of the elevator that should be checked, and the air conditioning in the reception and waiting room, but very well organized. Good reception. Congratulations to Ezequiel, the receptionist, and the girl who helped us as soon as we arrived at the hotel. If you see any other complaints, discard them, as we have observed that some guests who can afford top hotels go there, sometimes demanding even more than what is in the contract, congratulations on the full breakfast."

Intercity Manaus ★★★★

📍 R. Professor Marciano Armond, 544 - Adrianópolis, Manaus

"The hotel facilities are quite old, which is typical for hotels abroad, but this is very old. Breakfast was generally okay, and everything else was alright."

Manaus Hotéis Millennium

Manaus Hotéis Millennium ★★★

📍 Av. Djalma Batista, 1661 - Chapada, Manaus

"The location is good, between the airport and the city center, and next to a large shopping mall. It's worth noting that this hotel does not provide free bottled water or drinking fountains."

Hotel Saint Paul
8.3 (127 reviews)

Hotel Saint Paul ★★★

📍 Av. Ramos Ferreira, 1115 - Centro, Manaus

"This hotel offered a good location, only about a 5-minute walk to thr Amazonas Theatre and Sao Sabastiao Cathedral and a nice plaza to go people watching and have a nice meal. The Tambaqui de Banda is a great place to dine for lunch or dinner with outdoor seating with a good view of the plaza. But you'll have to take a taxi to the meeting spot for the Amazon boat adventure with the meeting spot at the municipal market Adolph Lisboa at a retaurant/cafe called Coreto. It'll cost you about 15 reales. Taxi to the airport costs between 75-80 reales. As for the room, it was big and spacious with good air conditioning and functioning WiFi. The service was hit or miss. I really like the young man Eves who welcomed me the way in a hospitable manner and was very helpful. I didn't care for the service of the two young ladies who gave perfuntory service, just ok. Breakfast was also ok, but lunch/dinner options were better. I really liked the steak with onions. Overall, this is a good place to stay for your adventure in Manaus!"

Mural Living Hotel Manaus

Mural Living Hotel Manaus ★★★

📍 R. Dr. Moreira, 168B - Centro, Manaus

"The location is very good, the breakfast is also OK, the room facilities are relatively simple, clean and tidy, the air conditioner is the kind of exhaust fan, the noise is quite loud, in order not to affect my sleep, I can only turn it off at night, but I will be woken up by the heat"

"Very nice room, overall clean and comfortable. I don’t understand why there is a kitchen if there is no utensils. I didn’t need it, but fix this for other guests. The water from the pool is not clear, so I didn’t swim. Breakfast is great, WiFi works well, water pressure great, AC perfect. Check-in takes too long, but in Brazil it is like this. I would come back."

"We booked this cruise with 7 friends to celebrate my husband’s 80th birthday - we were the only Americans onboard and only English speakers - there were several others who spoke English but it was not their first language. We were always slighted and the last boat to go out for excursions except the last day. Only 1 waiter in the dining room spoke and understood English. I tried 4 times to get a cake brought out at dinner for my husband’s birthday and it was quite an ordeal to make it happen because of the language issue. The English speaking guide on the boat excursions was difficult to understand and everything is in Portuguese. When they had the lectures in English they were so hard to understand that we never went back after the first one. Nothing to do at night except for 2 local dancing and singing shows. One for the 3 night portion and another for the 4 night one that was a little better. We did both 3 and 4 night back to back. We were disappointed that the ship does not travel very far at all from Manaus. Food was so so at best. Buffet style with people going in both directions and no organization. Very strange and unique types of fish mostly served for lunch and dinner. The “snacks” on the top deck are actually an early lunch or dinner with limited snacks and pizza. There is a menu where you can order food up on top deck using a QR code on the table or bar but you have to ask and it is limited sandwiches. We were not impressed with the food and our travel friends all agreed with us that we would give the overall experience with food, service, excursion quality etc a “6” out of 10. Not what we were expecting. Excursions were way too short and could have easily been extended an hour to 90 min more each time. Our English speaking guide who was hard to understand seemed to want to hurry and do the minimum and hurry back. Several hours in morning and afternoon of down time onboard with nothing to do - pool area very very small. Rooms were large and more like a hotel room than a cruise cabin and a hotel style bathroom as well. Mini refrigerator in the cabin. Our friends did not have hot water the entire time. When we got to our cabin at check in the air conditioner didn’t work and they immediately moved us to a cabin with working air conditioner. The only wildlife we saw in 7 days was one sloth during the day and one at night, a few monkeys, a few caiman at night and the pink river dolphins. The stop to see the dolphins was about 15 min and very controlled location. Also disappointing that we could not observe them longer. I would not recommend doing both itineraries - if you want to experience it, pick just one with the dolphin viewing or better yet just spend several days in Manaus and to tours each day from your hotel and tours will take you to the same places and some will even let you interact with the dolphins. Our cabin attendant cleaned some of the cabin but never even changed out used drinking glasses the e"

"The service and food at the hotel were very good. However, the room was very cramped and small. Cleanliness was okay, as was room service. Sometimes the towels were only changed upon request, even if they were visibly left on the floor."
