"We only came for lunch. We sat outside in the garden. The place was very busy. We ordered4 salads and enjoyed them. The salads were very well presented and well seasoned. The service was a bit erratic but they were very busy so maybe that's why."

"Very nice and comfortable room with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location is great for experiencing Mont Saint-Michel. One thing to keep in mind is that some rooms can be quite far from the main hotel reception, with plenty of steps along the way. It may not be ideal if you’re travelling with large or heavy luggage. Although it’s not far from the main gate, there is still a fair amount of uphill walking over uneven and rough streets. That said, this is part of staying inside Mont Saint-Michel and would be similar for most hotels on the island. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and a unique experience."

"This very recently opened small hotel is a real gem. Whilst the staff are still learning their trade, their enthusiasm is boundless and very charming! The romantic setting is right on the seafront so it’s well worth going for a room with a sea view if you can . There’s public parking opposite the hotel itself. The hotel itself is delightfully decorated with a marine theme and the rooms have been simply but very effectively updated. They even have coffee making facilities with locally made biscuits which is very rare in France. My wife particularly liked the fact that we could leave the bedroom window open and hear the lapping of the waves as we fell asleep. However for those with walking difficulties, the stairs to the bedrooms may be a challenge! The hotel is very competitively priced and the restaurant Le Comptoir des Isles (operated by a different company) offers a fixed price menu only (at 30 Euros for three courses). The food was beautifully prepared and quite delicious. We were even offered a free glass of wine in the bar beforehand! It’s clearly extremely popular as it was packed but currently is apparently only open at weekends. The very attractive town is about 45 minutes from Cherbourg so well placed for catching a midday ferry to Portsmouth. We will certainly want to return to the hotel and spend more time exploring the area."

"The hotel is well located, 1 min (by foot) to the main square (famous church related to the second war). Staff is so kind. The room was amazing, decoration so cute, extremely clean and the smell in the room was really good. Breakfast is available for extra fee and it was delicious. There is a restaurant in the backyard of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel."
