"This was a breath of fresh air for us, after a hectic few days of traveling. It was wonderful to just come and soak up the peace and enjoy nature all around us. The lodge we stayed in was very comfortable, the food was exceptional and the staff were extremely attentive. Talk about dinner with a view…..amazing! A bonus was having a monkey come and sit with us on our balcony. The lovebirds were also a great experience. We highly recommend a visit!"

"The hotel is a bit off the main road, nestled in the jungle. It has a large, beautiful property with a decent restaurant that served tasty food. In the room, there's a concrete bed and concrete countertops, and the outlets are inconveniently located under the nightstands. Maybe the design was cool initially, but now it looks a bit tired. What I didn't like was the lack of soap (though they brought some when I asked), and the shower gel and shampoo bottles were already half-used. Also, the toilet seat didn't fit properly. The hotel staff, in general, were willing to help with any issues within their power."

Also we were awoken at 2am by the hosts randomly choosing to loudly play music outside out window. In addition, only one very thin sheet was given (not sufficient for the nighttime temperature)."

"We stayed here for 5 nights in a family room and it was amazing! The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was plentiful and delicious and the pool was perfect for a cooling swim after being out and about in the heat. The family who run the hotel are absolutely lovely, along with their staff, and we felt so welcomed and cared for. It is a central location for visiting the many sites and activities in the region (Sigiriya rock, Minneriya NP, Dambulla cave temples, Pollonaruwa, and more). Definitely recommend - we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again."
