"This hotel had been on my 'favorites' list for a while, so my expectations were quite high. After my stay, I'm a bit disappointed. **Facilities:** The hotel has a gym, kids' room, and entertainment room. The kids' room is quite basic and unsupervised. The entertainment room, with billiards and table tennis, is decent. The gym was empty, and the equipment was new; the changing rooms were excellent. The cocktails at the lobby bar were pretty average, but the live singer was good. The breakfast buffet had limited variety and the taste was just okay. The Chinese restaurant offers group deals, and the food was acceptable, but nothing special. Honestly, there aren't many good dining options nearby, so you're mostly stuck with the hotel's. **Hygiene:** The room environment was fine and quite spacious. Be careful with mosquitoes – don't leave the door open easily. When they provided children's toiletries, there was no mouthwash cup. I hope they can include one in the future, as glass cups are quite dangerous for kids. **Environment:** Overall, the hotel's environment is very comfortable and great for photos. **Service:** The service isn't quite up to par. Staff members aren't very enthusiastic when they see guests. The shuttle bus driver was great and very nice. Generally, the staff members I encountered weren't very friendly. For a hotel in this price range, I feel the service awareness is a bit lacking. **Dongfengyun Characteristic Town Tickets & Sightseeing Car Tickets:** This saved us some money, and the shuttle bus drops you right at the scenic spot entrance, which is very convenient. **5 Digitally Retouched Travel Photos (requires advance booking):** The photographer was very nice, and the photos were ready quickly. He also provided good 'emotional value' (meaning he was good at making us feel comfortable and happy during the shoot)."

"Booked this hotel for my parents, and its location is fantastic. It's right next to Huquan Ecological Park and Honghe Water Town, both within walking distance. The service was very warm and welcoming; they even provided a plan for getting from the hotel to various attractions and night markets. The breakfast was good too, and they gave out eye masks and face masks as gifts. The hotel's hot spring pools are also excellent – a quick soak really helps with fatigue."

"We arrived quite late on the first day, but after contacting the butler in advance, two butlers were already waiting for us when our car pulled into the parking lot. The hotel is located within the Honghe Water Town scenic area, so early in the morning, we saw many people walking and enjoying the sun along the riverside promenade. The cherry blossoms were beautiful this season. The hotel facilities are very new, and my dad even commented that not only are they new, but many designs are also very user-friendly. I'm so happy to get such positive feedback from an elder! Plus, even though we arrived very late, the front desk staff still helped me arrange the hot spring reservation. The private hot spring pool was very secluded and comfortable, and both my mom and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a wonderful stay!"

"This stay was a perfect 10/10. Check-in was efficient and quick, the room was meticulously cleaned, and the thoughtful welcome fruit and minibar drinks made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, with excellent soundproofing and natural light, and the location was very convenient. The staff were friendly and handled all our needs promptly and appropriately. Since we couldn't book a double bed that day, the staff pushed two beds together to create a double bed immediately after check-in. The stay far exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it!"

"When traveling with my girlfriend, the most important thing is the hotel, followed by the food. I've been to Mile many times, and honestly, the hotels there are generally quite good. But this time, the Mountain Retreat was a truly delightful surprise. The service was on par with a five-star international hotel. From the welcome gift to the hotel's amenities, everything made for a wonderful stay. The lobby design is a wonderful blend of Chinese and Western elements. It's spacious, and the hand-drip coffee is excellent! The hot spring on the first floor has both public and private pools, and importantly, it's very well-ventilated—not stuffy at all! Since I drove there, I parked right next to the hotel, making it convenient to go out and explore. What surprised me most was the body lotion provided by the hotel; it smelled amazing! I only used half a bottle, but I took the rest home to find the same product online, haha. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the price. In my opinion, a truly good value experience is what I call value for money! I didn't take pictures of the room because we arrived too late and slept in a mess. You can see other people's pictures. Clean and luxurious!"
