"The rooms and bathrooms in this motel are spacious, modern and well designed with a fully equipped kitchenette. There’s a laundry on site so it’s handy for longer stays. It's in a great location right on the Warrego Highway and just a short walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a bit of noise from the Highway, but it didn’t really bother us. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the far side of the complex. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful – and gave us some useful dinner suggestions!"

"A bit unexpectedly we had to stay in Roma the night. It is a busy town and many of the motels were already booked so we were pleased to get a room at the Motel Carnarvon. As it turned out, very pleased. It is a big motel and seemed to extremely well run, right down to the under-cover parking outside the rooms. Our room was spacious with a queen and single beds and with a large bathroom that was friendly to those with mobility issues. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, strong wifi, a table and a couple of chairs. It ticked all our boxes. Everything worked ... plus it's close to town. The room rate is not inexpensive but then I got the impression there aren't a lot of cheap rooms in Roma. In that framework it was pretty good value for money."
