Posted on Dec 23, 2024|Rain Listening Private Hot Spring Courtyard Double Bed Room
Anonymous User
The last two kilometers of the road leading to the courtyard from the main road were quite rough, a narrow path only wide enough for one car, making it quite challenging. However, once we arrived at the courtyard, it felt like a delightful surprise, like finding a beautiful village beyond a willow-shaded lane. Each time we arrived, the warm and welcoming owner was already waiting in the parking area, proactively helping us with our luggage. This courtyard is run by a lovely family, and you can feel the warmth of their home everywhere. The owners treat guests like family, their children are lively and cute, and even their cat is friendly and interacts with guests. The courtyard only has four rooms, each equipped with a private hot spring tub. Inside, there's also underfloor heating, a heater, and an electric blanket. After a day of playing in the snowy mountains, being able to soak in the outdoor balcony tub, listening to the rain and admiring the greenery, was incredibly relaxing. Additionally, the food at the courtyard is also commendable; the home-style stir-fries were fragrant and unforgettable. The entire guesthouse experience was perfect.

HuangmakeStaying in the Yuan Qiao Deluxe Family Private Hot Spring Suite at the Tiangong Heyuan Hotel in Dayi was an absolutely fantastic experience! The room comes with one large bed and a sofa bed, offering plenty of space for families. The entire room features smart voice control (just say ”Hello Xiaowei”) to adjust lights and curtains, and the smart toilet is incredibly convenient. The bathroom boasts a modern, minimalist grey design with large tiled walls and floors, complemented by black fixtures, and the shower includes a niche, giving it a premium feel. The private hot spring tub in the room was the most delightful surprise, with its silky smooth thermal water. Guests can also enjoy the rooftop hot spring and steam room. The bedding is soft, breakfast is plentiful, and complimentary fruit and a minibar are provided. Full marks – highly recommend!

so far 3 night at chengdu. this is the most favourite accommodation of mine. The host super kind, helpful, generous. The room so spacious for 4 of us (2 kids /2 adult) the best things is the bed got heater & wool blanket to make sure we warm because weather here is super cold. Also i love the comfy sofa provided and I can relax and doing my work using the laptop. The host also gave us borrow extra heater and so generous provide us an oranges. The best part is I can put my luggage at reception while I go up to Xiling Mountain. You can ask the host to help booking bus ticket back to Chengdu city. Open the window and just secure the window net so you can enjoy the windy cold weather. Feel so blessed enjoying the God nature here. Overall I highly recommended this accommodation. So relax and peaceful.. the only sound I can hear is my kids snoring 😜🤣

This guesthouse is very close to Huashuiwan Town, but once you drive in, it's a complete hidden paradise. There's a stream in front of the hotel and a small hill behind it, covered in lush greenery and a lawn. The hotel has floor-to-ceiling glass windows, offering fantastic views. The landscaping downstairs is beautiful with something new to see at every turn, perfect for a leisurely stroll.
The owners have many dogs, and the most enthusiastic is Zhu Bao, a Golden Retriever, who greets every guest—super adorable! We brought our own dog this time and had a wonderful time. The public activity area is very spacious, and the hotel offers many activities, such as plant printing and calligraphy. In the evening, there's even a bonfire music party where everyone gathers to listen to music, chat, and drink – simply delightful.
The spring valley is incredibly peaceful at night, with only the gentle sound of flowing water and the crisp chirping of birds. You can fall asleep peacefully, feeling completely relaxed and satisfied. We'll definitely be back!

The room was very clean and spacious, and the owner was super nice and offered thoughtful service. The air was great, not too hot, and we could even swim in the river, which the kids absolutely loved!!! In the morning, we stumbled upon a market and bought some local produce to take home, which was a pleasant surprise!! This place is perfect for a summer getaway, family trips, and for entertaining the little ones. Highly recommend!!

Overall, it was pretty good. It was my first time staying in a tent. The room was quite spacious, and right outside the tent was snow. Walking a short distance to the restroom was fine, though it was a bit inconvenient to go at night because of how cold it was. Inside the room, it was warm enough, but even with the heater and electric blanket on, the air still felt a bit chilly. It was perfectly fine once you were snuggled under the covers. The rooms were quite private, with a good distance between other tents, so overall safety felt good. This kind of stay is nice for one night for the experience, but probably not ideal for a longer stay. I originally wanted to try the 'stove-boiled tea' experience, but it was a bit pricey for just me, and they weren't offering it in the evening, so I skipped it. The service was good; you could communicate via WeChat, and the environment was also nice. There was snow everywhere, and for a first-time experience, it was pretty decent.

This is budget accommodation in walking distance 800m from the entrance of Xiling snow mountain. We arrived by bus at 10:30 and contacted hotel to pick our luggages at the entrance. Staffs were very kind and energetic. We came down and walked back to the hotel. It is cheaper to stay here and has many options for dinner. But heating system was not working so very cold at night as we stayed over Christmas. Simple breakfasts can be ordered. For non Chinese speakers like us, try to get WeChat of the hotel in advance.

The room was decent, quite spacious, and had a balcony with a mountain view. The hotel has been around for a while, so the decor and facilities are a bit dated, but it was clean and didn't have any strange odors. Dining was very convenient, and there's free parking, so overall it was good.
The hot springs were very accessible; you could go straight in from the second floor of the hotel. Various pools were nestled among the trees, which was nice, and there was also a glass walkway that kids enjoyed. The only downside was that the water in the channels was a bit cold when we went at night.

Second visit to Xiaoyao Water Valley, a perfect summer retreat! We booked a simple family room, but the hotel kindly upgraded us to two twin rooms, making things much more comfortable for our family of four. The room had a large balcony right outside, offering views of the mountains and water. The air conditioning kept the room at a comfortable 21°C at night, perfect for soaking in the hot springs and gazing at the stars – the heat completely dissipated. The kids had a blast, the hotel service was top-notch, a truly delightful surprise. The hotel's decor clearly shows the owner's dedication; they even had musical instruments – a very unique place. I've already decided to visit again, and this is the only place I'll choose. Highly recommended!

What a pleasant surprise! March is the off-season for snow, and the price of hotels on the top of the mountain has started to get cheaper (only three or four hundred yuan a night). Although it was icy and snowy outside, it was as warm as spring inside the cabin. The air conditioner and floor heating were on. If we felt hot when sleeping at night, we would turn off the floor heating to cool down and save energy! The cabin is not big but it feels spacious and easy to use. The bedding is new and clean, of the quality of a big hotel. It comes with cotton slippers, sandals, toiletries, disposable toilet mats, tea bags and 2 bottles of Baisui Shanshui. It is very comfortable to live in, I have to give it a thumbs up!
