GGuest UserVery friendly and great hospitality by the owners. They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay.

Maybe because it is a newly opened hotel, the breakfast soy milk machine was not adjusted properly, and the sweet soy milk I chose turned out to be water. I checked in late at night and saw that the coffee machine and table in the lobby were in a mess and no one had cleaned them up…

GGuest User**Brushed to the temporary decision to go, the environment has not to say that green plants surround the natural oxygen bar, but many trees have bugs are uncomfortable, the room with slides children like it very much, the health is not satisfactory, usually live in a five-star hotel or there is a difference, the quilt found a lot of small black spots at night, The sound insulation is really poor. I didn’t sleep well at night. The next day’s activities were not ready. The children were disappointed. The breakfast was good. The rest of the hot spring afternoon tea was too hot and I didn’t experience it. The surrounding area was quite biased. I drove 8 kilometers to the Ping An Hotel at night. It tasted good. 👍

GGuest UserThis hotel holds a special place in my wife's and my hearts. Over a decade ago, I was dabbling in short video creation in Hengdian. Back then, I knew nothing, just using an old camera to shoot footage in the streets and alleys, often losing track of time. It was in this area that I unexpectedly met the hotel owner's father—at the time, he was just an elderly man guarding materials on a plot of land awaiting construction. We were complete strangers, yet he always invited me to his temporary shelter for a drink of hot water. Seeing that I had nowhere to eat, he would share half of the food he had brought from home with me. Later, I learned that the old man was overseeing this hotel project for his son. I watched him spend his days circling this empty plot, figuring out how to build the foundation and revising the blueprints, and I watched his son—who later became the hotel owner—running around coordinating the project. During that period, I repeatedly encountered setbacks in my entrepreneurial endeavors. His family always said, ”Young people shouldn't be afraid of falling,” not only letting me stay in the temporary shelter countless times for meals, but the owner also helped me contact local businesses to shoot footage, and even secretly slipped me some money to tide me over when I was short of funds. It was on this bustling construction site that I met my wife, who came to deliver documents to the boss. She always laughed at me, saying I was covered in dust but my eyes shone with light. Now, returning, the once empty land has been transformed into a magnificent hotel, which the owners have run into a thriving business. And I, too, have finally weathered those sleepless nights and have built a decent team. This time, I brought my wife along, firstly to properly thank the owners, and secondly to revisit the old construction site—or rather, the hotel's beautiful back garden. Time flies, but the hardships and warmth of those days are still vivid in my mind. This place is not only where our love began, but also holds the kindness of a group of strangers that I will remember for a lifetime. From now on, I will definitely come often, like visiting relatives—a feeling of comfort and warmth.
