We especially appreciate the chefs for preparing less spicy meals on our special request for our child. "Travelling: Me and my 2 teenaged children. This is the best hotel we have stayed at in India. Seriously! First of all the manager and staff are absolutely wonderful. Raji was so helpful with everything from the actual booking to making sure we where ok. And Mani with helping booking superb taxi and excursions and also so many practical things and also making sure we where ok. When my son got sick and very high fever I am so glad I was here, I felt totally safe and they truly are the most helpful and kind persons I met in India. The hotel is perfectly located, several restaurants, atm, bakery, bus station etc is nearby. It is just a short tuktuk ride to centre. It is better to stay here than close to centre wich is more noicy and here it is more beautiful and everything you need is nearby. The rooms are truly great. The whole hotel is so clean and fresh. A perfect stay in all the ways and I really recommend this Hotel. Even after we left Raji still checks in with us to see if my son got better and make sure we are OK. That is true kindness! "

"While the staff at Club Mahindra Mount Serene were incredibly helpful and their service was excellent, the property itself is seriously showing its age and is in dire need of an upgrade. The resort feels quite old, and we were particularly disappointed with the ground floor rooms. They offer absolutely no views, which is a real shame given the scenic surroundings Munnar is known for. Amenities are very limited – there's no swimming pool, no gym, and hardly any activities on-site to keep guests engaged. For basic amenities, we had to travel about 2 kilometers to another Club Mahindra property, and the road to get there was quite poor, making it an inconvenient and uncomfortable trip. In summary, the dedicated and helpful staff truly made our stay bearable with their excellent service. However, the property itself falls short. Club Mahindra Mount Serene has great potential, but it desperately needs a significant renovation and a serious boost in on-site amenities to match the expectations of a Club Mahindra property."

"We stayed in Room 202 from October 27 to 28, hoping for a pleasant experience given the hotel's views. Indeed, the room offered a stunning outlook, and it was clean, but that’s where the positives ended. The service was extremely disappointing. We faced multiple power and water outages, and contacting reception or housekeeping was impossible, as calls went unanswered. Each time we needed assistance, we had to go down to the reception and wait or look for someone to help. Breakfast was another letdown—limited choices, and everything served cold, from dosas and sambar to pooris. While a simple menu would be fine, the quality was poor in every way. When we ran out of drinking water, repeated requests went unaddressed. Altogether, this stay was frustrating and disappointing, despite the lovely views."
