"Our car was stuck outside of the hotel due to heavy snow, one of the hotel staff was extremely helpful to clear snow on the road and helped us drive the car back to the hotel, we were so grateful for his help otherwise we dunno how long would it take for us to make the car move again. He was so worry about us as there were also heavy snow on our departure day, he escorted us down to the mountain to make sure we are safe. All of the staff were so nice, food was fantastic! Probably one of the best hotel experience we have ever had. We reli enjoy the time there!"
"Stayed at the annex wing tatami style. Rooms are reasonably big and in clean and pristine condition. Our package came with half board and the breakfast and dinner buffet were wide spread and delicious with both continental and Japanese dishes. Soba noodles were served between 9.30 to 11pm. At the lobby, there was a 24 hour snacks counter with unlimited flow of wine, beer, coffee/tea and cookies. The outdoor onsen was good too."
"Wife and I traveling from the USA. We found this place to be ideal for a pre and post Nakasendo trail hike (although the trail itself was not that special). The staff was friendly and spoke English well enough. The on-site onsen (separate sexes) was clean and perfect for after a hard day’s hiking.
Breakfast was fun and a bit of a hurdle if you’ve not had Japanese-style breakfasts.
Hotel decor seemed straight out of the 1960s, but it found it charming.
One suggestion for hotel: list the times of the free shuttles from the train station more prominently on your website."
"Very close to the station! !
There is a small path leading to the back door, which can be used after 22:00 at night, and you will be given 🔑.
The front desk is very nice, and there is a bottle of drink when you enter the store.
There is self-service drip coffee, and you can also store your luggage.
The room is Japanese tatami, and the cabinet door is very distinctive, probably hand-painted. The area is not large. Most of the foreigners have high noses, and I don’t know if they will get used to it.
The shared toilet, washing, and shower are all very clean. There is also a password to enter the shower.
Most of the people who come here to stay should go to Magomejuku. There are also detailed introductions to the parade route and completion certificates in the lobby."
"Really impressed with this accommodation. We took two rooms for our family of 4. The staff were very polite, cheerful and helpful and the rooms were clean, cosy and well equipped. There is also an onsen which we didn’t use. Location is excellent, in nicer part of the town and close to the historic parts."
"I used it at the training camp of the university circle! !! I was very satisfied with the barbecue! The facilities were interesting and we all explored it! !! I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity!"

"Cleanness and service at the highest level. There is also an onsen pleasant addition after the day when you walk very much.

We really liked it!"
"I was a little concerned about the 10-minute bus ride from Nakatsugawa Station, but the hotel was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and it was comfortable. While I didn't use it, I thought it was convenient to have a coin laundry on the first floor."
