"Great location to stay at... close to the scenic site, just a walk over. There are plenty of restaurants around as well as there's one in the hotel. Reception was super helpful and warm, offering to book rides for us, as well as telling us of the complimentary breakfast, which we only tried on the second day as we headed out on the first early in the morning before breakfast was ready. Great spread of breakfast, too, when we tried the 2nd day. The room was very spacious, and we enjoyed the Mahjong table... hand a game or two during the late night. The room was clean and comfortable. It is likely one of the best hotels to stay near the north gate of JinPoHu."

I slept incredibly well all night long! Plus, it's far from light pollution, so I got to see the Big Dipper and the Milky Way – that was really exciting!"

"The hotel is very deep in the scenic area. The room rate does not include tickets. You need to buy tickets and sightseeing buses for 160 yuan. You have to check tickets like all tourists. Even if the parking lot is parked at the nearest place according to the hotel staff, it is still a distance away from the tourist service center. The tourist center is very large. You have to walk a distance from the tourist center to the place where the sightseeing bus is. You have to carry your luggage by yourself throughout the whole process, and you have to go up and down the stairs in the middle. It's simply collapsed. It was already night when we arrived. There was no tourist. We were holding a sleeping child and carrying four or five pieces of luggage back and forth by ourselves. Thinking of convenience, we walked directly in the side passage (the ticket had been checked by the gate machine). Who knew that the uncle came out to stop us immediately with a bad attitude and required that we must go through the gate machine every time. I said I would make some concessions, but there was no one. Moreover, I was just moving luggage back and forth. The uncle said that there was surveillance, but it was not allowed. Normal people would help others when they saw others moving several suitcases by themselves. The staff of the scenic spot here looked at you like a stone, motionless. Just moving luggage has exhausted all my good feelings for this hotel. The only bright spot is that there is a private room for breakfast the next day, and the product is also good. Let's put it this way, the hotel staff is still okay, but the scenic area is lame, all projects are suspended, the snow city is also fenced off, there is nothing to play in the scenic area, and the attitude of the staff is bad. The extra 160 is really not worth it. In fact, since there is such a long distance from the parking lot to the hotel, there should be hotel staff to meet at the door, guide, and help with luggage, so there won't be so many negative reviews."
