"We booked 2 rooms directly with the hotel for 3 nights and received confirmation email from hotel. When we check-in, they told us that our booking was cancelled by mistake. They provided us 4 Single Rooms for 1st night and Double Rooms for next 2 nights. Nash and a German gentleman on duty when all out to ensure we were comfortable and not stress out by the mistake made by the hotel. Excellent service recovery by the staff. We were happy to stay at the hotel even though we were not given the rooms we booked for 3 nights ."

"The best View over Obersdorf. The staff is very polite. The breakfast is great with a view and the wellness part is also perfect only that it closes at 20:00 . The rooms look good but the bathrooms are a bit small . The owner is your best friend and will assist you in whatever problem you will encounter. It's my second time here this year. Also the room card gives you local discounts and free bus rides and in the summer you get the Bahn to the top of the mountain also free."

"Perfect for travelling with teens. It was really clean and room was perfect. Breakfast great. Communal area nice with bar. Staff were really friendly gave great advice on where to eat locally lovely little restaurant up steps 5 mins walk (Pizzeria Alpenrose) , they also told us about Brunnenhof which is 10 mins walk lovely traditional restaurant with live music (Mondays and Thursdays) super for families young and older children. It was a perfect spot to explore the area , we had a car that is useful but there is a bus stop close by. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"I felt very anxious and scared. This hotel definitely needs to state on their website that their location changes during the winter. My actual accommodation was at Nature Hotel Walde sruhe, located in the mountains. The original hotel was dark and only the intercom was working, so I was really worried when they asked me to call a taxi to come to another hotel. I was confused and didn't know what to do, but a local woman happened to be passing by and helped me out. Don't get misunderstand, the hotel I stayed at was great, the rooms, the food and the staff were great. When I arrived that hotel by taxi and I said this is so bad experience, they said me No problem. It was probably a better grade than the original hotel. But the problem is not there. The location I booked is different from the actual location, that's the big problem! The visitors who come here in winter are probably mostly people who travel by car. If I had booked this place just to relax and enjoy a holiday, I would have been very happy, but I had a schedule that needed to be on time. I chose a place within walking distance to Oberstdorf Station and the ice rink, and booked it. That was my selection criteria. No matter how nice the hotel is, if it's in the mountains I wouldn't choose it. Luckily, there was no snow for a few days after my arrival, so I made the 40 minute walk to the ice rink in the morning. However, it was dark at night and the road was steep, so I couldn't walk there. My friends were worried and sent me the hotel. On the third day, the slope in front of the hotel was frozen and I slipped and hurt my hand. I had been negotiating with Trip.com for a long time, but I couldn't get in touch with them and they told me I couldn't change the hotel. However, due to an injury to my hand, I was unable to continue and was able to cancel the remaining days of my stay after speaking with the Trip.com representative and the front desk staff over mu phone. I had planned to stay somewhere that was easy to walk to, but the time spent negotiating left me exhausted. You are too careless about people who are not used to steep snowy roads. Please think more about the importance of location. Please be sure to write any changes in hotel location!"
