"Our car broke down and our insurance company booked us a room at the Ibis in Alencon. The staff could not have been more helpful and understanding especially as we arrived at 1am. Our room was lovely and clean (but very warm). The breakfast had a great selection and was delicious. Would highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff. You made a horrible experience a lot more bearable."

"This was the hotel selected for a coach tour. New when I saw that a continental breakfast would be supplied, however, no other meals were available. With the hotel being 20 walk from the main town area, it was not suitable for everyone to get food. Local deliveries when busy. The bar even ran out of beer. Room is basic but quiet. Would have been nice to have a kettle at least in the room."

"Ace hotel in a great location in a beautiful historic town. We found free parking in front of the hotel despite it being market day. Staff were really helpful and the food was delightful and incredibly good value. If you're in the area this is the place to seek out."

"Secure parking was a must for us, and this was provided here, free. Check in was easy, pleasant man on reception was also able to recommend a nearby restaurant, which we used, and had a lovely meal. Our room was large with tea/ coffee making facilities. The bed was comfortable and large. We had a walk in shower, the water pressure was good and the water was hot. I like the squeezy soap bottles on the wall, as there's always plenty! Breakfast was lovely, no hot food available but plenty of everything and no pressure to eat up and go. Lovely dining room. We only stayed one night, to break up a long journey, but I would recommend this hotel and would stay again."

"First, the town of Bellême is more charming and interesting in person than can be described on paper. We had wonderful dinners, peaceful walks and we learned about the area (Perche), which was one of our goals. It is a great place to headquarter if you are planning to explore the region. Second, the hotel is a work of art, literally. The decor reflects the artistic background of the hosts and each item is worth a moment of contemplation. The hosts were both very helpful and enthusiastic. They encouraged us in our endeavors and gave really good advice about restaurants and places of note. Overall, it was a lovely experience."
