"Excellent location, just walk out from Oslo station and you can see the hotel and have access to the hotel’s level 2 directly. Easy access to airport. Arrived late at night. Check in process was efficient. Staff was polite and offered me a free bottled mineral water which was a kind gesture as the waters/drinks in mini fridge are chargeable. Small compact room but sufficient. Kettle and steam iron available in the room which are very useful. The room is too cold for me though, I think it is around 20-21degC, I tried to adjust temperature to be warmer to 24degC but it was not possible. The restaurant staff are polite and friendly especially the staff at restaurant reception. Good breakfast, plenty of choices, particularly I like the fresh juice/smoothies. Overall a comfortable stay and recommended."

"We recently stayed at the Anker Hotel for a family vacation and had a bit of a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, making it very convenient for getting around and exploring. However, there were several areas that fell short of our expectations for a comfortable family stay: Despite traveling as a family, we were placed in two separate rooms on entirely different floors, which made coordinating things a bit challenging. We were disappointed to find no complimentary water, coffee, or tea provided in the room, a standard touch that would have added much-appreciated comfort after a day out. The washrooms were uncomfortably small, and the provided toiletries were very limited. While the central location is a strong selling point, the overall lack of in-room amenities and disjointed room placement left us a bit disappointed. With a few adjustments, this could easily be a much more welcoming spot for families."

"The location is excellent, directly connected to the train station. However, sometimes the mall doors are closed, and if you don't have a room key, you can't get in. You have to walk around the mall to find an entrance, though it might just be because we're unfamiliar with the area. There's a large supermarket right in the train station, making travel, shopping, and dining very convenient. Since we arrived before check-in time, we could only store our luggage. The luggage room is small and unsupervised. The room itself is not very spacious; opening two large suitcases made it feel crowded. My travel companion disliked the mirror facing the bed, but thankfully it could be rotated. The overall lighting was a bit dim, and the bathroom wasn't huge, but at least the shower had a door. Breakfast is served at a partner restaurant across the street, and the variety is quite good: bread, cakes, biscuits, cold cuts, meatballs, and drinks. The cured salmon was a bit too salty, but overall it was decent."

"Even though it's an older hotel, it's really good. The service is excellent, and both the front desk and breakfast staff are very friendly. The rooms are quite spacious, and the best part is that the bathroom is separated from the bed by a wall, so you can't hear the exhaust fan. They use L'Occitane toiletries. The breakfast is very generous, with a good selection of hot dishes, which is rare to find in Europe. The location is super convenient, just a 3-minute walk from the main street. Highly recommend it; I would definitely choose this hotel again."

"Our apartment was stunning with wonderful views. Only a 15 minute walk to Oslo station. The apartment we had included everything you would have at home such as a tumble dryer and dishwasher. We stayed here only for two nights but could easily live comfortable here forever. Below the apartments is a lovely bat with better prices than in the town centre and very convenient if the weather isn't great. There are many restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk."
