"I went to stay with 8 friends. I had the best time"
Sambi Resort, Spa & Resto ★★★
"We went to Mount Merapi and stayed at this hotel, which is located in Kalirung. It is only accessible by motorcycle from downtown Yogyakarta, and costs about 56,000 rupiah. The environment of this hotel is very good, and most of the locals go there for vacation. Since we went to Mount Merapi in the early morning, the hotel also very enthusiastically prepared egg rolls and a super large portion of fried noodles and two bottles of mineral water, which tasted very good! In terms of price, Ctrip is a bit expensive, agoda and booking are more affordable."
Tzy-No Cottage Yogyakarta ★★★
Sampai Villa Queensland ★★★★
The Riverside Javanese Cottages ★★★
"Fun ... friendly owner, not like in a hotel, but feels like a brother's house 😄"

Onsen Resort Kaliurang
"The breakfast food was delicious and the room was clean. However, the swimming pool was a disappointment – there were tiny bugs in it, so we couldn't swim."
D'Kaliurang Resort & Convention Yogyakarta

Griya Persada Convention Hotel & Resort Kaliurang
"Incredible stay! We booked a night here after a disaster at a neighbouring hotel and our stay was one of the best in Indonesia. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed with astonishing hospitality from all the staff members but especially Reza who went above and beyond to ensure that we were welcome and comfortable in the hotel. The facilities are top quality, the room was very clean and extremely comfortable, and we slept very well. The gardens and hotel grounds are extremely well maintained, beautiful, and have lots of space for relaxation or, if you have kids, spaces to keep kids entertained. The hotel has ample options for food/drink and also entertainment and also offers tours of the local area. It was also my girlfriend's birthday and the staff again put in genuine effort to make it a really special day for her, we are extremely grateful for their efforts - 5 star service. I can strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants an escape from the city and to be near mount merapi or who wants a bit of relaxation."
Hotel Kana Kaliurang
"The room is quite spacious, it's just that it may be an old hotel so it looks a bit worn out, the view is good, the Merapi mountain is directly, the dining is also good, the staff is friendly"
