"The staff was tremendously friendly and welcoming. It is a little more expensive than some of the other places in Pakse, but the quality far exceeds the price of a night. I stayed for three nights, and I will be back again. The wooden accents and friendly smiles make the place warm and inviting. The pool is a nice place to spend an afternoon, and the porches overlooking the pool are great for reading a book or just takin it easy. One of the managers, Ying, and the rest of the staff are incredibly helpful and give good advice on things to do around town. Breakfast is good, and I have a weird diet. They were very accommodating. The restaurant out back is open later than most other places in the city, and the food and service is good, too."

"Old and poorly maintained accommodation. Large but dirty facilities and rooms. We didn't like it at all. Breakfast ends at 8:30, clearly catering to Chinese tourists. The only redeeming feature was the swimming pool. I wouldn't recommend it."
