"Nineties hotel that seems almost semi-abandoned. Old rooms and furnishings. Faded and torn sofas. Bathroom with related taps etc. from at least thirty years ago, dirty windows. Nothing to do with the way it is presented. The location is excellent and allows you to reach the seafront on foot if you wish. Very friendly and welcoming staff"

"We were driving south after leaving Tropea and to tired to drive all the way to the Messina Sicily ferry. We found this 'venue resort" and it was a real find. Rooms were large, restaurant for dinner was great, breakfast included, parking included, reasonably priced. It was dark when we arrived. The next morning we went for breakfast and were blown away by the views and grounds. Perched high above the coast with beautiful terraced gardens and a pool. It became obvious why it was a wedding venue. We ended up spending more time then we planned because it was so relaxing just being there. Staff was so nice too."
