"The Kyma is a magical place, new rooms are treated in every particular, we were in the first floor rooms and from the terrace we looked at Stromboli and Basiluzzo. Breakfast is excellent and with healthy and quality products. The two brothers owners of the building are of a disarmant gentleness. Super super recommended!!"

"The hotel offers nice clean rooms, a tasty breakfast and a pool with an amazing view of the sea and some rocky islets. The reception is open all day and has well English speaking personel; which was very handy when the islands tsunami alert went of while I was hiking and I called the hotel to ask what I should do; luckily it appeared to be test; hotel was so nice to call the coast guard to check. Also the hotel offered tips for hiking. From the hotel you can make amazing hikes to the bronze age village at Punta Milazzese, the Puna del Corvo Peak, the Castello Rock and Calcara Beach with fumaroles. Since the hotel is very close to the port it is also easy to make a short ferry trip to Stromboli's remote village Ginostra with amazing views to the volcano."

"My stay at B&B da Luca made my experience in Panarea genuinely fantastic. It was my first time on the island, and I travelled alone for the weekend. Luca and his mother were great hosts, very kind and helpful. Luca picked me up by car when I arrived at the port, which was great. The B&B is in an excellent location, close to Spiaggia della Calcara, and has a spectacular sea view. The apartment was cosy, super clean, and very comfortable. I would really recommend this place! I will come back soon!"

"We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is super central, convenient for exploring Panarea on foot and easily reaching the main points of interest. But the real added value was Loredana, the receptionist: extremely kind, helpful, and always smiling from the first to the last minute of our stay. She made us feel welcome right away, providing helpful advice and assistance with great professionalism and warmth. A precious presence that truly makes the difference! "This was my first visit to Panerea. It had been talked up so much I was hoping for an experience that would blow me away. First I want to say the view from our terrace and the proximity to the dock was fantastic. Unfortunately that did not make up for the areas where it was lacking. The bed, sheets and pillows were the worst I have ever slept on. The mattress was like a rock as were the pillows and the sheets were scratchy and uncomfortable. I believe if the owner or anyone in management slept on these one night they would replace them in every room as the consensus amongst guests was they were extremely uncomfortable. Bathroom had mold on the ceiling and the patio needed a good cleaning. The pool had trash thrown in it. Breakfast was just OK. You had to ask at least three times to get coffee and then it was just warm. There were stairs with no lighting forcing us to use our phone flashlights. I will say the staff at the front desk was very pleasant. However a good nights sleeps makes or breaks a place with me. I will not be returning"

"Hotel Girasole has a long history. Their staff is polite, professional and friendly. I had them arrange a private driver transfer from the airport to the hotel. Which worked out perfectly. The hotel is not modern. The only complaint I have is the "blow dryer" needs an update. The showers are small, but the hot water is plentiful. The included breakfast can certainly satisfy. The back patio is a pretty quaint place to enjoy the lemon trees before you venture out. I find it so nice to have a balcony and observe all the vespa's on the main road which is Corso Italia. If you prefer quiet, in my opinion, is to call them directly and get a room over the patio. I have a foot problem, and the pool was down a pathway through a few gates and our weather was warm and I'm sure the water was cool, so I did not even get there to enjoy it. Rita and her staff are unforgettable and will be sure your stay is safe, comfortable and enjoyable."
