Outstanding
GGuest UserThe view was fantastic, with a clear sight of Taipei 101 in the distance. The room had a convenient table, perfect for a quick bite or a drink. Since it was an anniversary celebration, the hotel kindly provided a bottle of champagne, which really set a lovely atmosphere. The staff were all polite and had excellent service. And the breakfast was really good too! ♡

BbabyjobeI love the hotel offer of tub inclusive shower room, giving me the maximum comfort after a long day of touring through taipei! Even further, the hotel offers the bath salt for relaxation that reduces my muscle stress. Moreover, it offers a small baby chair for me to take shower with full convenience! This is 100% Amazing Grace!

GGuest UserExcellent and very friendly service throughout my entire stay from doorman to concierge to front desk to housekeeping to restaurant to gym. Great location next to Shandao temple MRT and within walking distance to Taipei station, nice restaurants, cafes and the famed Fuhang soy milk. I also enjoyed the excellent lunch buffer at the hotel restaurant Kitchen 12 at incredibly reasonable price. But please note that Marriott Bonvoy platinum elite or higher tier members do not receive the usual executive lounge access or free breakfast if you book via Trip.com (you need to book directly with Marriott to enjoy the benefits).

AAnonymous UserFacilities: There's a 7-Eleven nearby and a FamilyMart right across the street, which is quite convenient overall. However, it's a bit far from the subway station, at least a 15-minute walk. The hotel can help call a taxi. Service: The service was good. On the first day, my room had a very strong perfume smell, which made me uncomfortable as soon as I entered. I immediately contacted the front desk to request a room change. After about a 10-minute wait, staff assisted me in successfully changing rooms! Throughout my stay, all my needs were met to my satisfaction! The hotel offers views of Songshan Airport and Taipei 101 on one side, and the Ferris wheel 🎡 on the other!

GGuest User1. Misleading Entrance Signage Upon arrival, we followed the signage pasted on a pillar that directed guests to a staircase entrance. However, when we reached that entrance, we were shocked to find the door marked with the sign “来宾止步” (“Guests Stop Here”). When we raised this with your staff, we were told that this entrance has not been in use since the COVID-19 period. While we understand that certain operations may have changed during the pandemic, COVID-19 restrictions have ended for more than two years. If the primary entrance has been permanently closed, why has no corrective action been taken and the misleading signage still left there? Carrying heavy luggage up and down a sloped path unnecessarily was frustrating and avoidable. 2. No Staff Assistance or Clear Signage at the New Entrance When we finally located the new entrance, there were no staff members on standby to assist us, nor was there any clear external signage indicating that this was the correct way to access the lobby. The explanation given later was that all staff were away assisting with parking which is not acceptable. At least one person should have been assigned to remain at the entrance, or the last person leaving should have arranged for another colleague to cover the position. In addition, the Operations Director mentioned that there is signage inside the new entrance directing guests to take the elevator to the lobby. However, this logic is flawed. If guests cannot locate the correct entrance in the first place, how could they possibly see a sign placed inside? 3. Poorly Trained and Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior After struggling outside, we called the number listed on Google. Only then did someone finally come out and lead us in. By that time, we were exhausted and upset. When we confronted the front desk staff about why they ignored us, despite us clearly visible outside the “来宾止步” glass door, making eye contact and knocking for help, but they claimed they “did not see us.” This excuse was clearly untrue, as we observed them looking in our direction. Even more disappointing, none of the front desk staff offered an apology even until we requested to speak to the Operations Director and asked him to review the CCTV footage. After reviewing the footage, the Operations Director confirmed that the front desk had not been alert and apologized on their behalf. However, he did not acknowledge that the front desk’s attitude and lack of sincerity were also serious problems. Being “not alert enough” and showing no sense of apology or empathy are two entirely different issues. As an international hotel, the front desk is the first impression of your service. Regardless of the quality of your facilities, this poor experience completely overshadowed the positive aspects of our stay. It also severely damages the reputation of Kagaya Group — a brand that has long been admired for its exemplary Japanese hospitality and politeness. Although we appreciate the Operations Director’s effort to make amends by offering us a meal and gifts (which we declined), it remains undeniable that this incident reflects a failure in staff training and management oversight. We hope that management will seriously review this incident, especially the issues of: - Inadequate and misleading signage at the entrance - Lack of staff presence and assistance upon guest arrival - Poor front desk awareness and unprofessional behavior We trust that Kagaya Group will uphold its proud tradition of service by addressing these problems promptly and ensuring no other guests experience such treatment in the future. Thank you for your attention.

GGinaLim1008I booked this hotel for my boss's family who were returning from the US. My main reasons for choosing it were its convenient location and the availability of a triple room. However, the platform later informed me that the payment couldn't be processed and cancelled my booking, forcing me to rebook at a higher price.

Toilet installed with biget seat with (warmer) Convenient location. Can walk to Nanjing fuxing mrt. Lots of local eateries if you are into local food. Nearest 7 seven is at the traffic corner. GGuest UserThis is an older hotel so the decor is a little outdated, and has a slight musty smell. We also noticed that when we came back one evening, there was a strong sewerage smell in the bathroom. The shower door isn’t entirely waterproof and water leaks out during the shower such that there is always a puddle in the bathroom after the shower, and which does not dry overnight. The location is pretty quiet, even though there is a construction site directly opposite. However, we could occasionally hear thudding from the rooms above, which we assume were the guests above us moving about. We could also hear furniture being moved about in the room above in the morning (around 9am), possibly the cleaners making up the room. The wifi is not very good, and often did not connect or was very slow. We raised this with the front desk but they mentioned this was normal and the wifi is usually only sufficient for messaging apps. We largely used our roaming plan to research and plan our activities at the beginning of each day as the wifi was unreliable. We had to do some work during our stay and ended up relying on roaming to hotspot. The TV is a smart TV and while it has YouTube and Netflix apps built in, the slow wifi means you can’t really use it. We sometimes had the TV on for background noise but the remote didn’t really work other than to turn the TV on and off. The hotel doesn’t provide toothbrushes, etc. but you can purchase them from the front desk. The location is conveniently located near a MRT station, Family Mart, 7 Eleven and Fu Hang Soy Milk. We only took the hotel breakfast on the first day as it was just sandwiches, and we preferred to save room to try other foods. The staff are friendly and helpful, and speak English well. The rooms are large, the bed is also large and comfortable. There is a water dispenser with hot and cold water located by the lifts on each floor which is very convenient. We had chosen this hotel as we planned our trip last minute and a lot of the hotels in Taipei are quite expensive. Jiamei was affordable and was good value for money, and we would consider booking again.

GGuest UserLocated next to Rongguang Park opposite Shipai Guozhong, the hotel in the alley is very close to the Shipai MRT station. There is also a Shipai night market business district nearby at night for food. The counter service lady is kind and will guide the elevator to the door of the room. The room is still spacious, there is a balcony, there is a washing machine and drying rack on the balcony, but because it is only one night, it is not used. The fly in the ointment is that the bed is hard and the air-conditioning is noisy.
