Pro: A small yet cozy room with all the amenities you need for a solo traveler. The location of hotel is at the heart of Perth CBD, easy access or within walking distance to many places in the city. 6-8 minutes you can walk to the Perth train station and bus depot, convenient for those who don't drive. Friendly and respectful front desk staffs, though they prefer to speak English to you when it's obvious that Mandarin is the native tongue for everyone.
Con: the shower is so weak, that it takes ages to rinse. Some staff has a very limited knowledge about vicinity - I asked a front desk girl (European Australian born and raised in WA, judging from her accent) where I could have my breakfast of bacon and eggs, she pointed the bakery across the street and suggested I gave it a try. It was a useless tip and I found what I looked for at the back of the hotel within a minute at a shop called Smash Up.
