Pasadena Hotel & Pool
"This is our favorite hotel in Pasadena. It has such a cool vibe and the pool area is such a nice relaxing scene. If I had one gripe is that the pool is usually cold but the staff is so attentive. Plenty of towels and plenty of things to do out on Colorado Avenue."

"The hotel is new and spotlessly clean. The gym is excellent, and the service is also top-notch. It's perfect for business travelers."

"The location and hotel facilities are good. However, I didn't experience much service."
Hotel Dena, Pasadena Los Angeles, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
"We are utterly smitten with Hotel Dena - it has exceeded all our expectations for an artistic, pristine, and laid-back boutique hotel. The hotel was freshly renovated just last year, so every single amenity and piece of equipment is impressively modern. We were arranged in a first-floor "small loft" room complete with a private balcony - undoubtedly one of the highlights of our entire trip. The hotel's decor is nothing short of captivating, with a cinematic ambiance evident throughout the common areas. From the impeccably styled furniture to the mesmerizing artwork and paintings, every design element contributes to an utterly enchanting atmosphere. In fact, I would unhesitatingly award Dena a rating of 6 out of 5 stars to fully convey my deep adoration for this establishment. If we're ever blessed with the opportunity to visit Los Angeles again, Dena will unquestionably be our top choice. 🌹🌹🌹"

Hyland Inn Near Pasadena Civic Center
"I stayed for about two weeks and overall it was very cost-effective. Of course, considering the cost of living in Los Angeles, it's not comparable to a hotel. 🏨The surrounding area of Hyland is convenient, within walking distance of: a pharmacy, a Vons supermarket, and a Chase store on the left corner; and Pasadena Laundry on the right. An Uber ride for just over $10 will take you to Pasadena's Old Town or the East Pasadena commercial area. It's quite convenient for those arriving without a car. 🏨The hotel has an elevator, but it's a bit of a distance from the reception. The rooms have wooden floors, a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a small hairdryer. The water pressure is good, and most importantly, it's clean and tidy. Everything was wiped down before check-in, so there was practically no dust. There's daily cleaning, and I heard local drivers tip $2-5. Everyone from the receptionist to the staff is friendly and smiling. 🏨Parking is free; you need to ask for a parking permit at the reception. There's a car wash nearby. While giving the hotel a thumbs up, I really have to say, it's a beautiful but rural area... In these dark times, the hotel is truly a bright spot."
Rodeway Inn & Suites Pasadena
"When I booked the room, I added more than 100 yuan and was told that there were three breakfasts included. The next day, I searched the entire hotel but there was no restaurant. When I asked the waiter, he said that the hotel did not provide breakfast service at all. I wonder what Ctrip is doing? The bed sheets in the guest rooms are really black, I can't praise them! The clock on the bedside table is covered with dust, speechless!"
Pasadena Inn at Old Town, Los Angeles
"I like the location of the Green Tree, which is near the Del Mar metro station in Pasadena, and convenient for getting to JPL or Caltech. The staff are friendly, the hotel is clean, and they have a nice bowl of fresh fruit available at the check-in. However, I have two quibbles. First, I found the billing to be perplexing. Online travel agencies said I would be charged an extra $5 on site, but in fact I was charged an extra $12.20 (+ a $100 deposit which has not yet been credited back to me). Since I was traveling for work, I needed a $0 balance receipt to document that charge, and the reception staff were unable to provide an appropriate receipt. Second, the room was cold, with air-conditioning set to 64 F when I arrived. I turned off the air conditioning, but I was cold in bed and unable to find a blanket or extra layer. If I stay again, I guess I'll bring my own blankets and will try to book differently (perhaps directly through the hotel) in hopes of getting a receipt that my travel reimbursement folks can process."
Pasadena Lodge
The Langham Huntington Pasadena, Los Angeles
"The hotel is severely overpriced, and the rooms are truly mediocre. The place is like a maze—it’s incredibly difficult to find your room—and they unfairly withheld my security deposit. I will definitely not be staying there again!"
Motel 6 Pasadena, CA – Old Town Pasadena Area
"It's ok, just average."
Residence Inn Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town
"After staying for 3 nights, the overall feeling is: dirty, messy, and poor. It is not recommended to stay unless you don't care about the feeling. Dirty: The sanitation is poor, the floor and carpet in the room are so dirty that they can't be any dirtier. The sanitation of the public area is poor, the swimming pool is not clean, and the elevator and garage walkway are very dirty. Messy: The management feels messy, the service ability of the staff is poor, and the service awareness is not worthy of this hotel brand. The whole hotel gives people a lifeless feeling, without any vitality. It is obviously caused by the chaotic management. Poor: The front desk staff has poor ability and is not dedicated. They can't solve normal service problems for guests. Guests repeatedly ask questions and always agree but never solve the problem, and never give feedback. The professional quality of the staff is poor. They clearly communicated the room number that needs to be cleaned in person, but never cleaned it. After repeatedly asking, no one came to clean the room. I stayed for a total of 3 nights and 4 days, and there was never a service staff to provide us with room cleaning and towel replacement services. The included buffet breakfast is extremely poor, with few varieties and average quality. The location of the hotel is OK, only 26 miles from LAX Los Angeles International Airport, and it only takes 1.5 hours to get to the airport. The price is reasonable, about $290 per day for hotel accommodation and parking. I selected a few photos I took casually, and you can decide for yourself whether to stay in this luxury hotel."
Hotel le Reve Pasadena
"The location is excellent, walking distance from a Whole Foods, Amazon Fresh, CVS and Target, near the exit to the freeway, but the hotel leaves to desire because it does not offer nor offer paid breakfast option, it does not have room service, it's three walks without lift and the reception doesn't work 24 hours, i.e. if you need something from the hotel from 23:00 to 9:00, forget, you'll even be closed. The person who attended me at the reception did not pass me the Wi-Fi password. It is a reasonable option for anyone traveling alone and needing only a bed/bathroom, for anyone going to the event at Rose Bowl that was my dear is excellent, because he stays 15 minutes from the stadium, out of that, it's not worth it, because it's precarious and without structure."
The Patrician Hollywood Universal
"This is the hotel that surprised me the most. It not only has delicious breakfast, comfortable beds, beautiful living room, and spacious parking lot, but also looks like a small museum that collects many Southeast Asian artworks. It also looks like a scenic spot where you can enjoy the sunset on the top of the mountain. It is more like a The home of a friendly old friend. The owner, Mr. TJ, is knowledgeable, gentle, courteous, warm and thoughtful, making people feel at home. With the help of translation software, we had a great time communicating. Afterwards, we made a special trip to the Huntington Library, which he specially recommended. There are charming gardens such as the Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Australian Garden, Desert Garden, Rose Garden, etc., as well as European artworks and giant oil paintings on display. The most precious thing is that the library has collected a large number of precious manuscripts from different historical periods, which is a feast for the eyes and an eye-opener. He also recommended us a high-quality Thai restaurant at the foot of the mountain. We had grilled fish and mango sticky rice that were as delicious as we remembered, and had a wonderful night. Thanks TJ for a wonderful trip. I recommend this safe and beautiful inn to everyone. Reminder: 1. Suitable for self-driving guests; 2. After arriving at the navigation address, it is on the left hand side of the mountain; 3. It’s best to call TJ in advance;"
