But the strangest thing happened later, on April 30: security guards were running around looking out the window while I was trying to relax by the pool in my swimming trunks, even though logic dictates they shouldn't have been there at all, and it's completely out of place for them to be running around in front of guests in such an area. It felt like the staff were simply waiting for other guests. The breakfasts were also disappointing: the bacon was stale and fresh, the fish was dry, the cheese was stale, and the vegetables weren't fresh, especially the tomatoes—they looked frozen, and this was especially noticeable at the very beginning of breakfast. The dessert selection was meager, and fruit didn't arrive until half an hour after breakfast had started.
