SSongguoqingA surprisingly good hotel.
First off, the location is excellent. It's a 3-minute walk to Wanren Palace Wall and just a street away from the Confucius Temple.
As for the environment, it's a charming Chinese garden style, with all rooms being independent villas or townhouses.
Regarding service, after check-in, the butler escorted us to our room. We received welcome fruits, and the butler immediately sent over a local travel guide. We were also able to check out late at 1 PM.
The only minor drawback was that breakfast was quite average.

GGuest User1. It is the best place to stay to understand Chinese culture. 2. The staff is very friendly and provides good service. 3. The location is within walking distance of tourist attractions and the quiet surroundings make it the best place to stay to comfortably experience culture and history. 4. Unlike hotels, the breakfast is a delicious and healthy home-cooked meal that allows you to understand Chinese food culture. It is very clean and delicious. 5. I was especially impressed by the kindness of the desk and staff. It is a traditional hotel that I definitely want to come back to with my family.

TTianxingjian0817The location of the B&B is super good. It’s very close to the south gate of the Confucius Temple. It’s a few minutes’ walk. The room is very big and clean. There are plenty of supplies. The owner is very enthusiastic and answers all questions. As expected of the hometown of Confucius, a country of etiquette, even the name of the store is very particular If you have the opportunity to come to Qufu again, you will choose this place with five-star praise

Outstanding
GGuest UserOlder hotel, but still in pretty good condition. Nice quiet location. Breakfast OK. Must have the strongest coffee in China. Still, hotels providing toast without butter or margarine is a bit of a bugbear of mine, but a minor problem nonetheless. Shout out to the staff at this place who were all attentive, helpful and wonderfully pleasant. This hotel is about 1500m due South of the old town South Gate. To get to the hotel from the fast train station, take bus K01 (¥1) and get off at Datong Lu. Turn right for a hand made noodle restaurant at the intersection. Across the road is a popular McDonald's, and downstairs from that is a fully stocked supermarket. The 'san kong' sights start at the South Gate where you buy your thru ticke int. The temple and mansion are very interesting, and expect crowds. ¥7 for a Didi to the South Gate. The cemetery where 100k Kong people are buried is worth a look for the Confucius burial area. This area is only a 500m walk from the entrance. The whole wooded area is large, but you can skip the bus tour as they only stop at the main site anyway, and drive like Fangio through the rest. A slow three wheel open trike cost ¥10 back to the hotel
MM50038****The bathroom was tiny, and the toilet looked quite old. The sink wasn't particularly clean either. Mobile reception in the room was poor, and the hotel's Wi-Fi signal was weak; it was okay for watching videos but not recommended for gaming. The room wasn't very spacious, with two beds and a narrow aisle. Parking was available right in front of the hotel with free spots. The hotel is very close to the Confucius Temple, just a two-minute walk. The only upside was the very friendly owners; they answered all our questions, and the elderly couple was very welcoming. It was alright for a two-night stay while taking the kids to school, especially considering the much lower price. Can't expect too much for what we paid, this is an honest review.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is newly renovated and quite clean. It's very close to the Confucius Temple and Confucius Mansion, with a shopping mall nearby. It's also relatively quiet; we stayed on the ground floor. There's free parking in the courtyard, and electric vehicles have charging stations, which are not expensive to use.
MMatin ArablouIt was one of the best hotels. Friendly and helpful staffs. The room was clean and cozy. We enjoyed our stay. It’s highly recommended. Our favourite spot in Qufu.
GGuest UserI’m not gonna lie this was the best hostel I’ve been to in China and I’m travelling for more than a month. The owner is absolutely amazing, helpful, kind and happy. Also the other roommates at that time was so friendly and nice I had such a great time, it really make me feel like it was a small family 🥹 If I’m going back to Qufu one day, you can be sure I’m gonna booked this hostel again and for a longer time.
