Just a few dozen steps to the left from the guesthouse is Ziyang Street, instantly making you feel like you're part of a touristy world; just a few dozen steps to the right is Chicheng Road, instantly making you feel like you're in the world of locals. It's a bit surreal. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with all the necessary amenities. Although located in a residential alley, it was very quiet at night, and I slept soundly. The owner was also very helpful, sending me many local food recommendations on WeChat. Although I had done a lot of research beforehand, it couldn't compare to the experience of a local! For breakfast, based on the owner's recommendation, I bought some meat buns and savory soy milk at a nearby steamed bun stall. I didn't expect the steamed buns from such a breakfast stall to be so flavorful and delicious. If I come to Linhai again, I will definitely stay here again; the experience of traveling between two worlds, one ancient and one modern, is truly amazing.

The hotel is in the old city, very close to Ziyang Street and Ximen Street. The house faces the street, but it's not as noisy as expected. The bedding was very comfortable and I slept well. Originally a business hotel called Dazhong Hotel, it seems they changed the name to 7 Days Hotel. The interior was rather unpretentious, reminiscent of old Chinese invitations, but the receptionist was incredibly kind. She recommended a delicious restaurant and even helped me get to the train station, making for a very pleasant stay. It's located just off the main tourist area, surrounded by many local eateries, and I really liked the atmosphere.
