GGuest UserI have only positive things to say about the Victoria Letterario, even after the shock during the check in. Upon arrival for check in, the reception staff told me that my booking was cancelled! I showed them the communication of trip.com 3 days earlier confirming my booking, which their system has not registered. Jorge, the concierge, was very apologetic and offered me the only room available that day which I accepted, while he will get in touch with the intermediary to find out what went wrong. It appears that trip.com and similar platforms purchase the beds in great numbers from a company hotelbeds.com- I went to my room and I came down with my iPad and I and Jorge got in touch with Trip.com via my account. Trip.com replied immediately, confirming my booking and promising that they will get in touch with hotelbeds.com. As it was already 7pm, Trip.com did no manage to get through the staff at hotelbeds. Trip.com advice that if hotelbeds.com did no reply or confirm the booking then I'll have to pay and Trip.com will refund me right away. I was happy with that. I stayed the 2 nights in the hotel, and only the morning of the day I checked out the hotel Victoria Letterario received finally the confirmation of the booking from hotelbeds. Trip.com was every effective in dealing with the issue and I'll use them again and Jorge, at the Victoria Letteriario dealt with the issue very professionally all they way through, so did the manager of the hotel too. Trieste is a small city, and you can walk from the hotel to the major landmarks in 20 minutes. I loved the decoration of the rooms, the bathroom was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The TV channels were all in Italian but I don't care much about the telly when I travel. I enjoyed the buffet breakfast, it has everything that a good hotel breakfast should have and more, namely its attentive staff. A five stars stay!!!

[I won’t change the picture, just use the actual one I took] Facilities: Facilities are okay, Italian hotels are not very new Hygiene: The hygiene is quite clean, but there are ants in the bathroom🐜. Friends who mind Environment: The environment is okay. You can park on the roadside. The lady at the front desk said that this town is quite safe. Service: The service is very good, mainly the breakfast!

GGuest UserNice light airy apartment in great location. Close to the Flix bus stop, train station, cruise terminal and bars/restaurants/shops. Apartment is fairly basic but comfortable enough. Bed was a little firm, bathroom and kitchen basic. Would consider staying again at the right price.

Wwolfgang hammerschmiedA very friendly reception with personal note. The hotel is centrally located and has beautiful rooms. When staying with bicycles, the hotel is able to stay in the area. The parking lot is only 5 minutes walk from the train station when you arrive by car.

TthierryBig room with large bathroom (small shower) in a cut-off apartment in Rooms. Very clean. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. 2 minutes from the station. Not a real breakfast but cookies in packaging, tea, coffee machine and a reduced choice of yaourt. Located in a bourgeois building that lived but very quiet.
