"This resort has all you could want. However, the rooms were a bit warm, the AC was not cooling the room. As for the tiki bar, it had a DJ playing. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people on day passes and the pools were packed. I strongly recommend not allowing day passes to locals so that paid guests can enjoy the amenities a little more without feeling overwhelmed. Parking was difficult, limited space. Day pass people took up most of the parking spots."

"The price was right! That was definitely a plus and the location was convenient within walking distance to our venue. I will say though that that cleanliness was not necessarily five star. however it was suitable for our needs. The elevators worked great and no problems there. The staff is nice and as helpful as they can be. Parking stinks though, but I guess that's status quo for the area?"

Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach

"The location is excellent, it is next to two good hotels, the pool is divine, it has an exceptional view and although they close it at sunset, if you wish, you can go to the hotel next door, which is the Holiday, the rooftop bar is very nice and the shepard which is the other hotel has a night club and a good nightlife."

Ponce de Leon Hotel

"This is a historic building but it is in desperate need of updating and renovations. We have stayed here twice in the past, but I think it will be our last. The location is amazing but again the building a needs to be updated. The single elevator is extremely slow. The wifi for the tv was spotty and there was no functioning phone in our room so I had to call the lobby on my cell phone when the tv wouldn't work. There is no onsite parking and the garage costs $16 a day. We were not able to find space in front of the hotel to unload or load. There were cars parked in the loading/unloading zone both times even though there was no one in the lobby or standing outside."

"We were well taken care of. A great room, clean and very spacious. We liked staying there. But it is a hotel and perhaps housing for some people. Zero tourists. Just us. The rest of the people who were staying there were residents. I thought that was bad. Regarding cleaning the rooms, if you don't ask, they won't do it."

"I stayed at work, but the location was good, so it was very helpful. I understand that the facilities are old but clean as much as possible. I think if you stay a little divided, you can spend a quiet holiday at the beach."
