"We recently stayed at the Maris Grand Hotel in Protaras as a family of three and had a truly wonderful holiday. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how exceptionally clean and well-maintained the hotel was. Every area, from the rooms to the communal spaces, was spotless throughout our stay. The staff were one of the standout highlights. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure guests were looked after. Their genuine warmth made a real difference to our experience. In particular, Georgia, the Front Office Manageress who is so kind, helpful & always smiling and Ebru who worked at the splash park poolside bar – Must try her iced coffee…amazing!! Maria, Bill and their team were exceptional in the restaurant, always friendly, and polite whilst providing full professionalism at all times. The cleaning staff are simply amazing too! The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and consistently high quality throughout our stay. The Italian restaurant was a particularly lovely bonus and provided a fantastic alternative for a special evening meal. Our daughter absolutely loved the pool area and water slides, which provided hours of fun and entertainment. The facilities were great for families and helped make the holiday memorable for all of us. We visited during peak season in August, so naturally the hotel was very busy, particularly around the pool and main bar areas. Despite this, the atmosphere remained friendly and enjoyable. The only small suggestion we would make is that some background music in the evening bar area would help create a little more ambience after dinner. It was considerably cheaper than many hotels of a similar rating in the area, yet delivered far more than expected. Don't book expecting 5-star luxury, because that's not what it promises, but if you're looking for a great base, good facilities, and an unbeatable price-to-quality ratio, this hotel is absolutely brilliant. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend the Maris Grand Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly holiday in Protaras. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we've already booked to return in October, which says everything about how highly we rate this hotel. "Lost for words describing this resort. We came back yesterday after spending a week with them and all I can say is they are the loveliest bunch of people ive come across, the bar man Mina! He is the best and will have you smiling all night and laughing, the entertainers are lovely too and they will come and have a chin wag with you when they are not on the stage doing some amazing dancing, singing and entertainment. The resort itself is lovely and the food is delicious and its somthings different everynight, I love the fact they have " safe foods " available everynight too such as chips and chicken nuggets, its a great idea as I know some children might only eat such foods. So points to st elias! The cocktails, wine and beers are all great too! But honestly a Big Big Big Thank you to Flouris, the assistance manager! Wow one of the most kindest and most helpful people ive ever met, he remembered us from last year and came over to say hello and just couldn't do enough for us, he is so lovely and felt like part of the family, Id book again just to see flouris again! We will definitely be coming back! I 1000% recommend this resort and I love the free shuttle which drives u to fig tree bay! Comes every hour and is so helpful. Get it booked, I promise you won't regret it and if you go, say Hi to Flouris he is very welcoming but not in your face, I just dont have enough words to describe how amazing he is! "It‘s a mass hotel located right next to vryssi beach, which can be crowded as well. Morning buffet is repetitive and in the evening it was more diverse. Basic and sparkling water is added to bill. workers were partially very friendly and supportive especially one named Lal from the cuisine. Sunbeds were unfortunately fixated for the whole duration, which means little chance for a favourable position. Bus stop is next to the hotel as well. Entertainment programs were included. The gym is sparse but maintained well generally."

"I wouldn't return to this hotel,it is basic and needs modernising especially bedrooms and bar areas.i wouldn't say it was dirty just run down I was worried about our hotel with reviews I read but the hotel is ok, it didn't ruin our holiday just felt basic for what we paid.We where only there for 5 days and planned to eat out anyway at evenings but glad we did as food is average, it wasn't bad but so many nice restaurants in protaras to try.Location is very good and staff friendly,it's an ok hotel we had a nice break but wouldn't return to this hotel.Needs some money spending on it."

"We are so glad we found this villa! We stayed in the two bedroom villa which was more than adequate for our family of four (two adults and two teenage boys) The villa itself is modern and spotlessly clean. We found the beds comfortable and the bathrooms lovely. The kitchen isn’t set up for cooking big meals if that is what you are looking for but is adequate for breakfast and lunch. The outdoor space is superb! A great size pool and plenty of sun beds. Also a large outdoor comfy sofa area. The location is perfect. A short walk through the hotel grounds and you are on the promenade which is just a short walk to Fig Tree Beach and a great selection of restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel staff were so friendly from the minute we arrived. The cleaners came in everyday, they supplied us with clean towels and pool towels. An added surprise was the delivery of platters of food each day, pastries, cakes, fruit! It was my son’s birthday whilst we were there and after a day out we came back to a towel cake and a real cake for us to eat. It was a lovely touch. We couldn’t recommend this villa enough and will definitely be back."

"This review is, of course, subjective. The hotel is tidy and generally decent. There's lots of greenery and a fairly large area. It offers a wonderful view of the beach and Konnos Bay. The walk uphill after the beach isn't the most pleasant part, but it's like a fun quest, especially after a delicious and varied breakfast. In my opinion, the breakfasts were superb. The towel change system is clear and convenient. The pool and surrounding area are also a separate story. The Spartiatis restaurant nearby kept us from sleeping, but they served delicious food – the salmon is a must-try, as is the tasty bread from the restaurant. Overall, it was a wonderful holiday; if you don't mind the workout from the climb after the beach, everything else is great!"
