"The super beautiful infinity pool can directly see the sea. There are little wind and waves here, very calm. The facilities in the hotel are great, the scenery is very beautiful, suitable for lying down and sunbathing. You can see the clear sea directly on the cliff. However, the service attitude of the staff is very poor, especially the two check-in ladies at the front desk. The tone of the front desk of a 5-star hotel is extremely bad. I have stayed in so many five-star hotels around the world, and I have never seen such a bad attitude. The breakfast is okay, relatively simple. But the dinner buffet is really bad. I haven't eaten such a bad one for a long time."

"A wonderful oasis of calm near to Amphitheater, old town and promenade. This Boutique hotel is perfect in every way. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a lift and we had a super comfortable room on the second floor. The room was a good size, well equipped, comfy bed, good bathroom and shower. Plenty of hanging and cupboard space with a safe, complimentary slippers were provided, a bonus. In the bathroom good quality shower gel and lovely towels. The air conditioning was excellent. We ate in the restaurant two evenings good quality fresh food. Overall we could not have asked for a better hotel in a superb location. Highly recommend!!"

"We have just returned from this lovely family-run hotel. It is modern, exceptionally clean and the food is excellent. All the staff we met were helpful, friendly and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is usually used by those wanting a short 2/3 night stopover; we however spent 11 nights exploring the area and had a wonderful time. The nearest sunbathing/swimming area is about a five minute walk away: there are limited sunbeds on a concrete slab. The water is, however, crystal clear. It is about 2k/half an hour walk into Pula centre although buses are frequent if busy at peak times (€2 per journey). Both options worth it as Pula is lovely. There are several local restaurants within a short walk: we visited two, both of which were excellent value for money and served delicious food (we did eat in the hotel which was more expensive but the food was correspondingly better presented and felt more “classy”). We would recommend the Milan Hotel unreservedly."

"We booked a room for 3 people with a terrace and sea views. Initially, they gave us a smaller room, but later they gave us the one we had booked, which was larger, with a sofa, an extra bed, and furniture on the terrace. Spectacular sea views from the hotel. Comfortable bed, fairly large bathroom, spacious room. We didn't like the buffet; both breakfast and dinner were barely replenished, we literally ate the leftovers. And the restaurant staff were curt, at least those who served us. They knew we were guests and still charged us a supplement. We also didn't like that a child was left sitting for hours in the seats on the terrace facing the sea, without ordering anything, while the rest of the guests couldn't use those seats. The child was saving them for his family, and on one occasion, he was angry and occupied a six-seat area for over five hours. The waiters did nothing. Attentive and friendly reception staff. Attentive and very friendly cleaning staff."

"We returned... to a room with a balcony and a sea view. Still a rustic hotel with a pleasant ambience. In the morning and evening, when the day guests leave, peace and enjoyment of walks around the beautiful island. During the day, it is easy to find a place in the shade on the beach without crowds. The staff remains friendly, but something else distracted us. The choice at breakfast and dinner is somewhat smaller, in the morning there is a long line for coffee in the dining room, where only one machine works (breakfast for the Istra/Neptun/Karmen hotels), and the waiter directs us to drink Nesscafe coffee and this in a 3/4* hotel, where half board costs over 300 euros. Everything is more expensive, including bike rentals, which have been transferred to concessionaires. The service is worse than in the past. It has become overpriced, if we return, we will return mainly for the nature."

"The hotel is only 200 meters from the arena, and its parking lot is right next to it. Because the staff had already left when we arrived, it took a long time to get the building access code. It would have been better if the hotel had provided it earlier."
