"Fantastic Villa so spacious with our own plunge pool, beautiful location, felt like being in the reserve. Staff were brilliant very helpful and friendly. Stayed 3 nights on full board and food was lovely. First night was a bbq on the jetty, very tasty! Would highly recommend. Loved staying here. Only downside was the nearest park entrance was closed so it was 1 1/2 to 2 hour each way drive to main park entrance."

"My experience at De Silva was excellent from start to finish, largely because of the people who run it so thoughtfully. Before arriving, Andrea was consistently quick to respond to emails, answering questions clearly and thoroughly. Her friendly professionalism made travelling to Sri Lanka for the first time feel much easier. Once at the resort, the same professionalism and warmth carried through across every area. I didn’t get everyone’s names, and all the staff deserve credit for being welcoming and attentive; from the accommodation side (Nalika and Nirosha) to dining - Naveen took extra care at all mealtimes, always checking everything was right and happily accommodating requests. Viraj and many others also contributed to this consistently high standard of service — the whole team worked seamlessly and with genuine care. The bar, wellness, and activity side of the resort is also a real highlight. Umesh is always approachable and full of ideas, clearly passionate about wellness and generous with his time and advice. Priyantha at the bar adds to the experience serving with ease and good humour. The massage treatments from Samantha were excellent — deeply relaxing and very professionally delivered. Finally, the wind sports team is outstanding. Led by Baba, along with Sachin and the wider crew have a genuine focus on helping guests progress, the instruction feels both personal and encouraging. Whether through structured lessons or quick, well-timed tips spotted from the beach or on the water, their advice made a noticeable difference to my kiting. The whole team are supportive and knowledgeable, creating an environment that is motivating without ever being intimidating. Overall, the De Silva Resort stands out for its warmth, professionalism, and genuine care for guests. It’s clear that the team truly wants guests to have a great stay, and that commitment comes through in every detail. I couldn’t recommend it more highly — thank you to everyone for such a memorable experience."

"What an awesome place to get amongst one of the most renowned spots for kite surfing with a constant lagoon just off the surf break - or do nothing and just watch some true experts who recognise how good it is. The vila has a great feel and lots of places to watch and chill as well as a swimming pool - great for laps or just chilling right off the lagoon. The architect design is right up there with plenty of thought into every space. I asked the chef to get some crabs and she made one of the best crab curries I’ve had - and I’ve had a few."

"Wow. This place is nothing short of spectacular. My husband and I traveled with another couple and stayed here 3 nights before heading out for the rest the journey. Words won’t describe the magic you will experience at Elements. The property is serene, beautiful and rustic, immersing you in the enchanting local ecosystem. Accommodations are quite lovely but the stars of the show are the staff and owners who are generous, kind and so friendly!! I wish we could have stayed longer…..we won’t forget this experience."

"We had a wonderful stay at Soluna Beach and can’t recommend it highly enough. We stayed in one of the villas, which was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The entire property is very clean and well cared for. A special thank you to Suranga and Rodney, who were absolutely fantastic throughout our stay. They were warm, helpful, and incredibly accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and they truly made our experience extra special. The location is perfect, right on the beach and within easy walking distance of several excellent seafood restaurants. Waking up to the sound of the sea and having breakfast while looking out over the ocean was a highlight of the morning. The breakfast itself was great, with a choice of English or traditional Sri Lankan options, both delicious. We’re already looking forward to coming back. A truly relaxing and memorable stay! 🌊"
