"Very very good experience. Nice relaxing holiday by the beautiful sea. Staff work tirelessly for your comfort and enjoyment. Yes the building is tired and needs updating but that certainly doesn't reduce your enjoyment. The food is varied, good quality and the pasta is without doubt some of the best ive had anywhere. Drinks are good quality including the soft drinks which in.some hotels are horrible but not here. Cocktails are nice. Had a lovely massage while I was here, would recommend. Overall we had a great weeks holiday! Thanks very much Occidental boa vista beach."

"Fantastic experience - location, amenities, staff. We had a few minor issues with the room, all of which were resolved promptly once we reported them. We only ate in the main buffet restaurant - Africa. The staff were attentive, without being intrusive. We sat outside for breakfast, at the same table each day, and the staff very quickly recognised our usual habits, responding without being prompted after just a couple of days. It was the same for lunch and dinner, where we sat inside. Even though the staff were on rotation, they quickly recognised what we had to drink at each meal time and what additional cutlery we needed. Even to the point where by the last few days of our stay they had set our table in advance of us coming to eat. I can only reiterate the excellent service given by the restaurant staff, whichever shift team were in attendance. The room was in good condition, clean and perfect for our needs. Cleaned everyday, always to a high standard, with fresh towels every time - which was important, as we showered around 3 times a day."

"The hotel is predominantly Italian people, I was I think the only English person! However the staff are friendly and the location fabulous! A short walk to the fabulous beach (uphill on the way back) but not that strenuous. Rooms are basic but good they have everything you need and it was quiet. Pool area is lovely and clean. Nighttime entertainment is low key it’s a place to relax. Food is plentiful and of a good standard. Overall a pleasant stay."
