OUR TRIP EXPERIENCE WAS VERY GOOD. 'tHERE ARE ONLY 2 COMPLAINTS: 1. Because my husband is an amputee, we asked for a handicap equipped room. However, the toilet was not handicap status and was very difficult for him to use. 2. When we were preparing to leave, we were unable to procur a luggage cart and had to haul all our luggage to the car. Otherwise, we were very pleased and will be making reservations for the Christmas holidays. Sincerely, Ellen Byrum

They hotel was very clean and staff was very nice. I don’t recommend booking through Trip.com. I booked and prepaid several days before arriving and the room that I had booked was unavailable. The hotel said they reached out to trip.com to let them know that I wouldn’t have a room and to contact me. Instead I got confirmation emails stating my room was available for check in. The hotel was very nice and helped me get an available room with not additional cost but trip.com refused to do any kind of refund for they different room.

The hotel service is good, the facilities are clean and hygienic, and the breakfast is simple and delicious

There was a cockroach in the bathroom. Furniture was cracked and dinged up. There was no hot water at the bathroom sink.

Staff was very friendly but the facilities are in dire need of repairs and updates. Missing part of our mirror, shower rod was bent so curtain was not functioning, chairs were bent up, cabinets broken or scraped, many items in lobby were broken. For the price I expected MUCH better than what we got.

Updated and clean property. The bed was very comfortable. Restaurants and shopping centers where close by. I would stay again.

Pros: *Clean *Employees are friendly and helpful *Located in convenient area with lots of good restaurants nearby (walking distance) *Continental breakfast was delicious & there were a lot of choices Cons: *interior is outdated and could use a refresh (walls had peeling paint & seating area fixtures had noticeable damage) *Wifi is spotty sometimes during the afternoon *Toilet had issues and if you heard it continuously filling up, you would need to flush it again or else you would hear it run all night

I know there is only so much management can do, but the hotel was very noisy, lots of people roaming through the halls and talking loudly until about 1 a.m. There was also someone screaming at someone else in the parking lot for about half and hour around midnight. More in the control of the hotel was the heat. When on, the heat made the room WAY TOO hot, and it could not be adjusted. I estimate that it was around 90 in the room when the heat as on, even though it was set to about 70. We tried múltiple times without success to adjust it. So we ended up shutting it off all together. That made it colder than we liked but seemed to be the only option. The staff was nice. The breakfast was good. Other than the temp, the room was fine.

Overall it was fine, very basic but clean accommodations. We were informed when we arrived that they typically do not rent rooms to people who live within 30 miles of the hotel but since we had already paid online they would let us stay. (We were staying to be closer to a work event for my husband). So if you are fairly local, you may want to look somewhere else!

We were especially impressed by the cleanliness of the room, especially the bathroom. The breakfast was good except for the powdered eggs. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We would definitely stay there again when visiting Raleigh.
