I had a really wonderful experience in Iceland with the hotel. I stayed in Artisan House for 5 days. They provide juice, milk and cereal everyday, which is very lovely! They had towels, shampoos and body washes provide, and the shampoos and body washes are L’Occitane, which is highly recommended!

Stay 5D4N 1. Location: Hotel has several blocks of apartment, we were allocated to the one 4 mins walk from the reception, quite central in the downtown, 4 mins walk to Bonus supermarket, and about 10mins walk to the big church and harbourfront 2. Amenities: Room cozy and spacious enough with pantry and all necessary kitchen wares, so we can do our own cooking here, also have washing machine and dryer at basement for share use 3. Service: Staff are nice and helpful 4. Breakfast: Inculded, a basket will be put inside the refrigerator around 4pm everyday and freshly baked bread is provided in the morning at 8am, more than enough quantity and they are delicious

Great location we were in the Artisan building which was a few minutes from bus stop 6. The apartment was very clean. Easy access to the apartment without having to formally check in as the door key is held on your mobile device. We had a junior suite which was perfect for our family of 4. However the sofa bed was so uncomfortable. The springs had gone and when 2 people are sharing the bed you end up rolling into the middle. Another 2 pillows for the sofa bed would have been welcomed. Having said that the apartment was clean, the bathroom was of a good size and stocked with L'Occitane toiletries. The shower was perfect. With Iceland being so expensive, the milk, orange juice and cornflakes were perfect for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised when the milk and orange juice was topped up throughout our stay. If the sofa bed was not so worn we would give this apartment 10/10.

The hotel's location is fantastic; it's right by the pedestrian street, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The Sun Voyager is also just a 5-minute walk away. We stayed here for a total of three nights during our trip to Iceland, but unfortunately, there was road construction directly in front of the hotel. This made navigating, parking, and carrying luggage quite inconvenient, especially for first-time visitors to Iceland. The hotel really should have found a way to proactively inform guests (e.g., via email) and offer suitable advice, instead of remaining completely silent.

Nice location and close to shopping street

The room facilities are excellent, especially for guests who enjoy cooking. Complimentary milk and juice are provided daily, and the hotel uses L'Occitane toiletries. However, check-in was a bit inconvenient; the front desk and the rooms seem to be in different locations. The hotel sends access codes to your email in advance, and guests can download an app for self check-in.

The location is excellent, right next to Rainbow Street. The room was clean and tidy, and it even has a kitchen. Perfect!

A very clean and beautiful place. Please add breakfast to your booking as they will deliver you fresh sourdough bread every morning. Wish I could bring back them home as well as the good Icelandic cheese in the basket daily. Unfortunately it’d go bad for my 16hrs flight in total :( The room I got was a little walk from the main building so please make sure you have strong legs and fitness for this. Service was great too and front desk helped me with my fly bus booking to the airport as I had to leave early for my flight.

Spotless and spacious room. The hardware are all well maintained, well equipped kitchen available. Amazing, will definitely recommend.

My favourite stay throughout the trip. Location: 5 mins walk from Bus Station #6, about 10mins walk from Bus Station #5. Easy pick up & drop off for tours and flybus. Room: there’s a sepetate building for check in and your room. So really depends on the room type that you book and maybe luck. Our room is comfortable for 2 with 1 big luggage and 1 medium luggage. There are Fridge, induction cooker with pot and pan, cooking oil, salt & pepper, milk, orange juice, cereal, coffee machine and tea provided. If you’re sensitive to noice because of the street, they also provides ear plug which I thought is quite thoughtful.

This is the last hotel we stayed before leaving Iceland and it is the best of the whole trip. The response was prompt, facility was well maintained. Have everything you need to prep for a simple meal after the whole trip. Would definitely stay here again if ever come back to the city

Our room is big and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. We are lucky to stay at the building where the concierge and laundry room are located which makes it very convenient. It has all the kitchen wares and basic seasonings. The only downside is our room is near the street so there are some noises until 10.30pm but they have also prepared the earplugs in the room in case the guests need. Overall very happy with our stay here.

The hotel is super good location. It has the rooftop for convenience of watching the sky and aurora. The room is clean, also the staffs are nice and helpful but the road maintenance work outside the hotel is affected our luggage to move difficulty to and from the hotel.
